Yea, the whole Dre Bly thing has quieted down since the season started. I remember when that was the panic du jour.

Although, Goodman is just plain BAD at tackling, he's better than Bly.

Hey, did anyone catch Darius Heyward Bey trying to run down a giant that picked off Jamarcus? He was running so fast that he outran the guy by ten yards and the player simply made a cut inside and scored the TD. Maybe it's on YouTube.

Andre Goodman had a couple of Dre Bly moments today...

I miss Bly--I thought he was scapegoated for what was probably Slowik's shortcomings as a coordinator. I think he would do extremely well in this defense, though not better than his replacement. Goodman is a blanket and is the perfect foil for Champ.

On a side note, I feel like Jack Williams is outplaying Alphonso. He should be the starting nickleback, if he's not already--I didn't catch which of the two was playing where, though I think I heard both names.

Thats how I feel. I couldnt believe it when we traded for him and everyone was excited about it. Also the OT game vs Green Bay where Bly was burnt by Favre is really just shows how dumb he is. Bly was so eager to jump a route and be a glory hound that he completely ignored the possibility that Favre might be going deep. And then there was the Chicago game. And then there was every FG block team he played on where he would loaf every time.

Wow that was bad...even for Dre.

Anyone see Tommy Jackson going of on Donnie Avery(of the Rams) for dancing after a TD score that made the game 31-10. Tommy was livid that the kid cared more about the TD celebration the the goal of the team winning.

This is what Champ was talking about. The team had too many me & I guys over the past. Bly was one of those guys I guess.

I'm completely happy with our DB's. Props to McD and the scouting department for bringing in the right guys.

He did at least win the Cleavland game for us by forcing and recovering a fumble in the 4th.

Definitely don't miss his coverage compared to Goodman, but Goodman needs to learn how to ****ing tackle...

That's usually the case with the league's "entertainers" but hey...the kids and advertisers love it, so it's cool ::)

I still say the best name in football is Algae Crumpler.

Jamie Winborn would be proud of that.

Colt McCoy will be the best name in football by this time next year.

Awesome, awesome name for a QB.

I totally agree...for the past two games, I kept yelling at my TV about the lack of tackling when in comes to Goodman...I hope Nolan is showing him how to get his s*** together!!
