In a Football Outsiders report attempting to represent relative value based on more than mere statistics (particularly valuing production when and where it matters vs. putting up numbers when games are decided, etc.) the section about the most valuable RBs has this little tidbit:

5. C. Buckhalter DEN 37 0 55 0 40 19 21
Correll Buckhalter looks very good -- and the Cowboys don't have a great run defense this year. But the Broncos' offensive line deserves a lot of credit for how that offense is playing. The front five of the Giants got a lot of hype last year, but Denver's starters were arguably as good and are playing like the best line in football this season.

You need insider to see the whole article, here's the link:

Denver's is top 5. Giants, Broncos, Vikings, and the Cowboys are probably in the mix and in any order you want.

Yes, but they're all giving 110%.

Wait, that's only 5.5 teams that should be in the top five. LOL

I still think our overall run blocking can improve, when that happens, later on in the season, we will have the best O-line in the NFL

Hard to really tell right now , alot of teams are playing the run against us , and our backs 1 st year in this system ..........

Denver has the best pass blocking line. Giants have the best run blocking line.

I would say that the Cowboys do not belong on that list...their bell cow Flozell Adams is the most overrated tackle in the league.

Dallas line didn't look top 5 the other night. Are we that good upfront on defense now? Where we get 5 sacks against a top oline? Man NE better get ready to protect Brady or we might just kill him.

see here is what alot of people are missing , for example Giants linemen have all been together in the same system for a while , Cohesiveness..........right now we dont have that , run blocking is like the queens gambit in chess , everything has to be in step ......

Shortyardage I agree. But we are fantastic at run blocking otherwise.

The roughing the passer penalties Brady got were ridiculous. The Broncos might sack him 5 times, but expect it to be nullified by the refs.

We're still one of the best OL in the league
we've had a couple injuries at the guard positions this year that hurt our continuity, but we still keep strolling along
Kuper should be back this week at right guard...

Kuper was back last week.

Hamilton is out.

Hamilton is out.Right. My bad...
Hamilton is doubtful with a hamstring injury; Harris has a shoulder injury and he's questionable
Anyway, we're still a little banged up, but we have some good depth to keep us a float

I think Denver has Best pair of T's in the league.

When we can punch it in against a solid Defense near the goal line just once out of four (5, 6?) times.

When we can pick up a 4th and 1 (inches?) because the coach doesn't want to try a long field Goal.

When we can consistently keep pressure off of Orton even against a dominant (decent?) pass rushing team .

Then I'll think about it.
