The Medicare denial rate found in the study was, on a weighted average basis, roughly 1.7 times that of all of the private carriers combined (99,025 divided by 2,447,216 is 4.05%; 6.85% divided by 4.05% =1.69).

But according to democrats and liberals, Medicare is a shining example of government involvement and how "well" it works.
And if you disagree with their determination, you can always get ahold of a real person, who cares, and feels like they better help the customer...

Some Caribbean country is going to be a gold mine once the Communists have their health care plan set up in the U.S. All the best American doctors will flee there and the flights between the U.S., Canada and them will be constant. Perhaps Jamaica. Maybe the Dominican Republic.
Yep. The country that starts building clinics and hospitals down there is going to be rolling in dough. They'll be the Caribbean version of Bahrain.

Funny, my wife is in Med School - P.A. actually - and I have been trying to convince her we need to do that exact thing. Head to Latin America and set up a clinic for those Americans fortunate enough to be able to escape this unfolding disaster.
Boys and girls take charge of your own health through diet, exercise and mental / emotional tranquility because it is for damn sure nobody else will no matter what the government comes up with. It's on you and you alone.

of course they are going to have higher denial you knuckleheads, they are mostly elderly.do you have any numbers of how many of those denied had been previously denied by health companies before they were eligible for medicare?Hence no treatment for existing health issues. And how far back does this go? A year?Post some links at least.

you failed to give me a link, or to explain any of my questions. typical.could it be... gasp...that if these people had not been denied coverage by the insurance companies and had gotten treatment..that when they applied for medicare..they would not have been denied coverage for existing medical conditions?And agian you guys fail to realize that the public option is exactly that. An option.

Dude, you could live in a low income apartment in the ghetto, hang out outside with the drug dealers all day, get high whenever a big load of pot comes through, knock up every chick in your building, and then put it on cruise control.

Maybe. but if the insurance companies did not deny them when they were younger and they took care of their health issues, than medicare denial would be lower.

what a crock. so if you are born with a bad heart and no health insurance companies want to cover you than thats ok?yet when medicare wont cover you when you are eligible for it than it's not ok? brilliant.:spit:you guys are so concerned with abortion and yet when the kids are finally born you don't want to help them at all.
