View Full Version : Did anyone see the officiating shenanigans in the NE-Balt game? Be ready for more...

Hate to say it but there has been a lot of discussion about how the Pats benefited from a number of questionable calls today basically giving preferrential treatment to Brady.

I dont see any reason why this wont change when we play vs NE. It is what it is. Brace yourselves for more shenanigans.

We can always pull out the old Shanahanigan...oh wait....

We'll see. We pretty much overcame some shenanigans against Cincy and Dallas so bring on the biased Refs.

brady just had to look at the ref and they would make the call.

That fake limp was pro.

Lame. The officiating was bad period, on both sides of the field.

Either you didn't notice that....or you have an agenda.

That fake limp was pro.

I saw that to!

It was criminal. The Ravens did a good job trying to beat both the Patriots and the officiating crew, but the penalty against the Pat's that they wouldn't let Baltimore decline was the one that broke the camels back. I watched that entire game, and the Ravens should have walked away 4-0 today. If the Pat's keep getting calls like that, they may find a way to overturn the one loss they had and go 16-0 again.

Tom Brady:

"Take off the skirt and put on some slacks."

From the crew of Sunday Night Football on NBC.

Not just the crew of NBC but from Rodney Harrison, former skirt wearers teammate! :spit:

You can't selectively protect one player like that.

I love how this is in every thread

The PI against Scheffler was absolutely insane.

The PI against Scheffler was absolutely insane.

It was bad, but nothing compared to what the Ref's did to Baltimore. Tony Dungy was shaking his head about the calls, hell he agreed with the dude who told Brady to "Take off the skirt". Baltimore played two teams today, the Pat's and the Ref's. they beat the Pats, and held the ref's to 27, but it just wasn't enough. Criminal I tell you, there is no team in football that could have won that game today other than the one that apparently paid someone off.

Ray Lewis and his crew should just jump Brady in a bar. Might solve two of the Broncos' problems, the Pats and the Ravens.

10-04-2009, 09:41 PM
The way the ref's were calling it, you would have thought they already did. I hope it blows up in the media. I doubt it will because of the Pat's golden boy status, but if it does, might make the ref's treat next week a little more equitably.

There was a roughing the passer penalty on the Ravens when the DB just brushed Brady's shoulder pad withhis finger.... it was so minimal contact, I am not sure Brady even felt it...

Ray Lewis is right, it's not a personal foul if Brady is laughing about the call. A personal foul should leave him puking his guts out on the field and trying to stop blood coming out of his ears and nose, sheesh!
