Manning or Brees will win, easy.

Rivers is pretty much the San Diego Chargers by himself though, so if they make the playoffs he'll likely have to put up the numbers to warrant inclusion in any such discussion.

Nice to see Doom getting some love, 15-20 sacks is not out of the question for him at all IMO.

Gawd those lists are retarded...the only thing more ridiculous than having 8 of 10 players being QB's is the fact that it's probably right in the sense that the MVP is nearly always a QB.

Umm, so which position would you like to see that has more of a direct impact on the team as whole?

Dumervil is on pace to finish with 32 sacks for a 16-0 team.

He can do better.

Yes, but the team will let him down. I mean I can handle him slowing down to 30 sacks, but a 15 and 1 record would ruin the season. I just love inflated, projected stats after 20% of the season. Let us talk about stats after the half way point or 9th game. I love what I am seeing but Orton and the Broncos true test lies in the next 5 games. Broncos offense started against the Raiders. It is the Defenses turn to shine against a good offense.

How can somebody with such clear, sensible vision on the Broncos be so obtuse when it comes to the Stray Cats? ;D

Left Tackle?

If football is played in the trenches, why hasn't a non-skill player ever gotten any MVP love?

you dont know and you dont understand. Trust me. 96% of all greasers love the Stray Cats. You must only remember 2 songs and think Rockabilly had a 1 year run. Google rockabilly and know that the SC and Rockabilly are alive and well. Stray Cats sold out Pacific Amp last year (7k plus). Real rock n roll!(Viva Las Vegas is good one to google.)

No joke, just ask the Bills, Packers and Steelers how important it is.

Elvis and Adrian Peterson are the only non-quarterbacks on the list.

Ridiculous.

Dumervil is having a nice start to the season, but he's not even the MVP of this defense. That's Champ or Brian Dawkins right now. Maybe even Andre.

He played well but many of the sacks have came when the game is already over. IMO if he was not there the games might still have the same score. Now that he is on the radar as a LB, he might start to be more important as teams have to game plan against his rush.
