Makes sense.

And it makes KC even weaker this season.

It's going to be funny if Cassel turns into the biggest bust, and Thigpen turns into a worthwhile quarterback over there.

I bet they tried to trade Brodie Croyle but Miami wanted someone with a chance to get their first win.

Yep, and perhaps not so far-fetched . . .

Didn't they learn their lesson after the Trent Green trade?
Obviously not.

So who is the worst team in the league right now?

KC... St Louis... Washington... Detroit... Tampa?

I'd say it's KC, and they just got worse.

Yeah, well... I'm not rushing to any bookies to put money on Thigpen's arm. But it would be a cool thing to see. :)

Or they are high on meth. I hear KC is the meth capital of America. It would explain the mullets also.

Thigpen had some accuracy issues but all-in-all he was really a decent QB last year.

He started 11 games and had 18 TB's and 12 INT's. Not that bad considering how poor their O-Line is.

He got tuberculosis 18 times? Their O-line is worse than I thought.

As long as Oakland has fat boy at QB they are the worst by far. Totally demoralized team.

I wonder how long Al is going to hold onto JaMarcus before he finally cuts his losses?

Speaking of the Raiders, Garcia is on the street again.

Maybe Al should swallow his pride and re-sign him. ;D

Thigpen had a lot of accuracy problems. He also locks on to one receiver. He lacks the ability to read defenses. He is good in the wildcat, thus why Miami got him. He can't step back in the pocket and throw the ball like Brodie or Cassel

Oddly enough...Thigpen actually got a win for KC...unlike Brodie or Cassel.

Any quarterback could have won that game. We got 7 points from special teams and the defense and running game did the rest.

To bad you haven't been able to replicate that success. Don't worry though, you will have your first win by mid season.

I highly doubt it. The talent level of the chiefs is dead last in the NFL. IMO

If you needed an arm to run Miami's offense, Pennington couldn't have taken them to the playoffs.

Thigpen is the only legitimate starting QB on the Fins now! Maybe was on the Chiefs too.
