Does anyone know who is calling the game for CBS on Sunday? Is there a website that has that info each week before the game?

Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon

Probably good that you're watching the game. It's not like Dave actually describes what's happening on the field with any real degree of accuracy, however any possible big play is described with, "Here we go!" and "Foot race".

I like Dave's calls. I think he does a really good job, and matches his voice to what's going on on the field. Good PBP, IMO.

I agree, plus I just cannot stand most of the announcers on CBS

Never been a fan of Logan. If you listened to his call on Sunday, you never would have known that Buckhalter had a great cutback on his TD run or (IIRC) that he drug the last defender into the endzone with him. The call was basically, "Handoff to Buckhalter, Oh Oh, here we go, foot race, touchdown Denver."

eh, I can live with Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon.....could be worse. Why can't we just have Gus Johnson every week. Gannon is gonna be all over the Raiders junk the whole game.

That may be the case. I'll see this week, as I refuse to listen to Gannon talk "objectively" about the team he led just a few years ago. gimme a break, CBS.

Still get heart flutters when I hear Logan's call from XXXII.

"OOOOOOOOOH BABY, we're gonna win this thing!"

Dave Logan has a good voice and a great personality and that's fine enough for me. I hope he does the play-by-play for as long as he wants.

Here in San Diego, the Chargers have Josh Lewin who is one of these "Syracuse" types and he's very annoying. He has no charisma and a wimpy voice. Look at this little weasel. I just want to strangle him.

From the bits I heard, I liked Griese. Dave asked him what Braylon was like when they were at Michigan together, and Brian response was basically, I was gone 5 years before he got there.

Next two Bronco home games feature number one FOX (Dallas) and CBS (New England) network crews.

Raiders want Gannon gone

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/09/25/raiders-want-gannon-gone/

Posted by Evan Silva on September 25, 2009 9:46 PM ET

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders want CBS analyst Rich Gannon (and former Oakland Super Bowl quarterback) banned from their Alameda training facility.

Club officials want Gannon blackballed because he's been critical of the organization.

"Rich Gannon is not welcome here," ubiquitous club spokesman John Herrera said. "We told CBS we did not want him in our building...and that's where it sits."

Initially, the Raiders even asked for Gannon to be pulled out of the broadcast booth. Unsurprisingly, CBS declined.

"Rich Gannon is an objective and analytical broadcaster and he will be broadcasting the game as assigned," said CBS senior V.P. of communications LeslieAnne Wade.

As to the Raiders' reasoning, Herrera pointed to Gannon saying the organization "should just blow up the building and start over."

Herrera is apparently more sensitive than his incredibly confrontational history with at least one reporter suggests.

"We think in a post 9/11 world, that's not a very proper thing to say," Herrera said. "It's uncalled for. (Gannon) seems to be a guy who can't get over the fact that he played the worst Super Bowl game in the history of the game and he wants to blame everybody but himself."

I don't think Dave is very articulate as others have noted. My local fav is Mark Johnson for CU. I would absolutely love for him to replace Logan.

So for Dallas we'll have Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, and for New England we'll have whoever announces with Simms (forget his name...)

I really like Joe Buck. He's a great announcer.

Oh my!!! :D

I grew up on Enberg and the last KFC QB to win a SB and get suspended for betting on games, what's his name.

I think Enberg called all of the great Bronco games from the 77 AFC Championship to the Drive and Fumble to the greatest game ever, SB XXXII.
