We live on a planet of limited resources, ergo our system of unlimited consumerism and the basic capitalistic notion of unlimited growth cannot coexist with that first reality. We're already seeing that most clearly in the seas. We have decimated fisheries all over the world. If we don't stop, no more fish. It's pretty simple stuff.

I actually took in the Glenn Beck show where he was frothing at the mouth regarding this video. Of course, he's an idiot, so you have to take that into account. This video has a little too much of that "crystal swinging" enviro-dweeb mindset that I find annoying, but I can't dispute the overall concept. At some point we will be forced by resource limitations into designing sustainable systems that are more of an endless loop than a linear progression.

I loved the video thought it was presented in such a way that anyone watching it would get what is at stake here. Very well done from the perspective of actually reaching the people needed to be reached, Joe sixpack.

Lets take a closer look at this video you loved baja:

The former uber greenpeace activist distorted facts like shes says the military is using 50% our federal tax money? and what does just saying tax money even mean? shes cherry picking at beast the only time we were near 52% was during WW2 we are at 20% also what's this poisoned breastmilk claim? and it's the goverments job to take care of us? wtf? and shouldn't private enterprise be bigger than the federal goverment? lol really think about it. I would really hate to see the time when federal goverment is spending more than private enterprise well unless your a socialist i guess it would be acceptiable. (She clearly prefers goverment over private enterprise yes it's called socialism)

Then she goes on the b**** aboiut flame retardants would she prefer her house go up like a tinderbox before the firedepartment can even get there LOL! this chick is an idiot and this is being shown to children what's the concentration of these toxins in a freaking pillow anyways iam sure it's not soaked as she claims. Does it really matter how many years have we been using pillows without problems. Has anybody even heard of a tangiable scientific threat/study being found she is simply scaring the crap out of kids to foward her agenda.

Toxins is breastmilk? really? got proof lady this is just stupid on many levels then she ends that rant with (they should take care of us) yes they = goverment this is simply painful to watch again. Next is the trees she says we have 4% left? maybe trees that are 400 years old but the tree population seems to be just fine and are replanted 10 fold that is a documented fact i just wonder what her logic is on this topic iam guessing fear.

This chick wants everybody to live in log cabins are you ready to live in a log cabin answer truthfully i don't mind kids getting a lesson but can we please atleast make it a truthful topic and not some ultra eco terrorist propaganda and notice at the start what oraganization put this video out.
