THat was taken in 2007 and I got conflicting reports on how old he was. One person said 10 in that video and annother said 5.

So, he is either 7 or 12 now.

Fun video, although PacMan's theme song "I make it rain on dem hoes" is probably not the best match.

Also, there is no way that was a 5 year. One the moves, two the size of the kids and three I don't think there any place in the country that has a 5 year old tackle football league. He's got to be 9-10 in that video, about 3rd or 4th grade.

Thank god. I opened this expecting to see that Lamont Jordan was named our starter or we signed "cooked crack" again.

Classic how he switches the ball to his left hand when he scoots up the sideline. This is what Herschel Walker must've looked like. Same running style.

According to the bylaws of Norcalfed, a player can be 5 as long as he turns 6 by Nov 1st. Basically whatever age your kid is as of Nov. 1st is your "league age" for that season. This is the league that all of my children played in.

http://www.norcalfed.com/2009Rules/NCFCH9.pdf

Norcalfed stands for Northern California Federation (of Youth Football). Pre Season starts Aug. 29th and the regular season ends Oct. 24th this year. I think it is a 4 week playoff but that does get changed around a bit.

So, yeah. There is a tackle football league that 5 year olds play in. I heard that they amended the weight limit for the biggest team to 220 pounds this year but I don't have verification.

Cinnaminson Pop Warner Football:

Divisions of Play

TINY-MITE 75LB Weight Class
5-6-7 year olds, weights are from 35-75 lbs
No older/lighter players allowed

When former Eagles QB coach Pat Shurmur lived here in town, his kid played when he was 4 because he was big.

All that being said, there's no way in hell that kid was 5

I don't believe any optomist league would take on the liability of allowing a 5 year old to play tackle football. I suppose a parent could sign a special waver, but typically flag football starts around age 7, then tackle around age 8 or 9.

I would imagine he had to be atleast 7 or 8. He looks small, granted, but 5, thats CRAZY TALK MAN!!!!!!!

tsk tsk

It doesn't matter what color you are! Never say never of a RB who's white that could remind fans of the second coming of Barry Sanders or any other great "Black" Running back. My point is it could happen. Mother nature works in mysterious ways.

He's definitely not 5. He looks 10 or 11. Youth football is broken down by size and weight and from the size of the other kids he is junior type division. Probably 5th or 6th grade. Those kids mostly looked about 80-90 lbs... Definitely a stud though...

Raider Bill

80-90 lbs are 7-8-9 roughly.

Actually I've coached Junior division youth football for 8 years now and the majority of kids are 80-100 lbs and 10-11 years old, and 5th or 6th grade. Out of the 30 kids I have this year, 4 are 9 years old and 95lbs-105lbs and they are chubbers...

Our league pegs 90 lbs at 7-8-9 years old. Hell, my kid just barely squeeked into the 75 lb team and he just turned 7, he's considered a 6 year old for the league because his birthday is after the cutoff.

check out the block the kid makes on the kick return at 53 seconds. reminds me of McCaffrey in the super bowl when he completely obliterated a LB.
