"Josh McD: Orton! What is best in life?
Orton: To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the Browns Fans.
Peers: *cheering* "

I would like to point out all of the scores are higher than the total last week. Don't you have any faith in our D? I went with the "right" pick though. Great poll.

This is Sparta!

Josh McDaniels: You bring the Brady Quinn and staph infections to Mile High Stadium. You insult my Quarterback. You threaten my fans with slavery and death! Oh, I've chosen my words carefully, Mangina. Perhaps you should have done the same!

Eric Mangina: This is blasphemy! This is madness!

Josh McDaniels: [Lookes round the class] Madness? THIS IS DENVER! ["kicks" me off the table as i scream]

Once again, the BroncoBuff formula for tomorrow:

Don't kick to Cribbs + No Ints from Orton = 10+ point win ;D

(and I am literally looking at Invesco Field out my window as I write this, so... )

I don't see the Broncos having a winning season, but I do think they'll win tomorrow.

Good to see some positive thinking in the votes, and good to be back.
For some reason I couldn't log in (just kept getting "website cannot be found") for the last week and just today bypassed the mane page to get to the forum.

Anyway, I just don't understand the doom and gloom.

Again, we were an 8-8 team last year, and were one player (Hillis) away from beating Buffalo and being 9-7.
Sure, we've lost our "franchise" qb, but we've ALSO lost a guy with no heart and leadership ability.

We've GAINED a healthy backfield, a new defense, and a few new vets (Dawkins, Gaffney, etc.) that should help quite a bit.
Yes, the offense sputtered last week, but the defense looked better than expected, and the offense should improve week to week.
Let's not forget that this was our first game with our new coach and our qb's first game (including PREseason) with Moreno, Marshall, and Gaffney all playing.

Keep the faith Bronco fans. Despite what everyone in the media is saying (these guys don't have much more of an attention span than your average teenager) this team COULD be pretty good if things can come together.
We got a "fluky" win (as has been said all week) last Sunday, but we got the win all the same.
Now let's get one without the fluke part and be off to a 2-0 start.

I'm looking at Invesco right now out my window, looks to me that they are packing it up since were going to lose so bad.

if we still have a shot at winning the game after 4 minutes, we are doing better than expected

Both valid points... And the D giving up no more than 6 points sounds good as well.

I doubt that our offense can put up more than 21 on anyone right now, so I wonder whether the D can hold the Brownies to 20 or less.

Maybe. I'd say it depends on how much help or hurt we get from special teams.
