UPDATE: In response to this item, an agent who was not one of the sources for the original item contacted us, agreed with it wholeheartedly, and said, "I would put one of my players on another team's practice squad before putting him on the Browns."

Mangini outing the Cheatriots has been killing Florio for years now.

Seems he has a total ax to grind on the Browns. Sure, Cleveland isnt a great place in the winter (or year round for many folks), but why would agents care if their veteran client goes to a team where 1st year "rookies" go on a ten hour bus ride. Humble up those players that just got a fat guarantee without playing one down (and of course those that arent but hell, they are rookies). Add to the fact that they have a staph infection problem. Redo contracts? How about these agents get a contract that protects mass production uptick from these clients so they get paid in incentives?

i am glad that no one wants to go to Cleveland. in most cases it is becoming the place careers go to die. there have been numerous staph infections and with them reaching the point of basically being a perennial bottom feeded there really is no desire to play there.
i'd rather play in Oakland or Detroit than Cleveland. at least in Oakland, Davis would give me a mega deal for nothing, and in Detroit i wouldn't get illness for playing there.
