His form of pancreatic cancer was a no winner from the get go ... and not at all a pleasant way to go. RIP Patrick.

He fought like a champ. You don't have to fight anymore.

Still upset at the mis-casting of the monstrous schnoz in Dirty Dancing. Would've been a great movie had they cast an attractive woman.

Sounds like someone has never beat off to Howard the Duck.

Roadhouse is an undisputed trashy classic, a film so bad that it's great in unintended ways...you don't get those too often. Red Dawn was okay, but it hasn't aged very well. I didn't have much use for the rest, still he seemed to have unpretentious air about him in all his roles that was appealing. Taken out by the same cancer that claimed Bill Hicks....very sad indeed.

The film had John Doe (The bass player from X) and Terry Funk in it, how could it not be great? Hilarious!

When I met John Doe a couple of years ago, I asked him what it was like doing this film and he just rolled his eyes

I didn't really care for many of his movies. But he was great in North & South and Point Break.
