Brady is banged up. Also alot of leadership missing from that defense, and the NE secondary is not what it used to be.

I'll say it's over by mid 2nd Quarter, The Bills lasting just a bit longer than the Raiders do against the Chargers.

That ridiculous rule has a short lifespan methinks....otherwise, like you say, sacks become damn near impossible.

I think the league just needs to get it over with and insitute a two-hand tag and your sacked rule. Its just completely unfair that a guy can scramble / backpedal / throw at the feet of a reciever... but the instant a quarterback takes a legitimate hit, it's a 15 yard penalty.

I agree...best crew MNF has had in many a year

Tirico has always done a good job with play by play... Jaws does a nice job with color, but it's only the quarterback position that gets much detail. Gruden really does a nice job giving in depth analysis. I just can't imagine he'll be in broadcasting forever.

Tell you what I would have done if I were in charge: Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan. That would be an awesome monday night crew. I can't believe Tim Ryan doesn't get the national broadcasts with Fox... he's always on the regional team. That guy is unreal.

Who knows. Maybe NE is just getting old! They've been on top for 7 or 8 years now and thats hard to do in todays NFL. Perhaps McD saw this and thought it was time to move on and took the Broncos HC while the winning reputation of the Patriots was still at its zenith.
