SD or OAK?

its tough, i kinda want to say oakland simply because the less wins the chargers get the better. but oak's defense is gonna keep their team in a LOT of games this year i think, especially with the addition of seymour. and rooting for the raiders is like punching babies-you just dont do it.

I agree that San Diego needs to lose a lot of games, but not tomorrow. The Raiders winning would be a horrible thing...

I don't give a damn who wins really. I won't root for either team. The only thing I usually want to see happen when I watch two AFCW teams play each other is that they beat the **** out of each other. Yeah, I like to see guys get injured but nothing that would put their season or career in jeopardy. Just something like what Kuper is going through, a high ankle sprain or something that keeps them out for several weeks, long enough so that when they play us that person is out or just coming back and not full strength.

Oakland.

There's a SD fan I work with and I really don't want to keep hearing his "Super Bowl" talk.

That said, I expect SD to obliterate Oakland.

I really don't care. A division rival will lose either way.

hopefully neither team makes it to the stadium, as the busses get flat tires, and they both forfeit.

I could never root for Oakland, period and the past few years of going to games in Diego have shown me what true f'heads the Chargers fans are....I'll abstain

Definitely Oakland. If they win, it will be a fluke, and everyone will consider it a fluke. If SD wins, the media will anoint them the best 1-0 team to ever suit up.

is there any way... all 53 members of both these teams get banned for this year ? I WILL ROOT FOR THAT

I'm not rooting for anyone, but Oakland doesn't have a popsicle's chance in hell.

I feel dirty for thinking it, but I am leaning towards Oakland. Its for strategery, not for any other reason. We play Oakland sooner, and a loss in the division for the "best team" in football cant hurt anything.

Personally, I think SD will take this division (even though it is only week one). I like to see Raiders get embarrased like we did to them last year. Those Faider fans think they are going to win the Super bowl every year so why not let them see reality with week one. I am predicting 42 to 10. It should be real ugly and I am not referring to those in the black hole.

Oakland will have opportunities in this game with their running game and play action, but it won't happen.

I still see the Chargers as blan obstacle of an opponent despite their success over the last few years. As bad as Oakland is, I will still never, EVER root for them.

If the Raiders win all of my co-workers will be happy, but all they'll say is "are you ready for week 3" we are going to kill you.

good thing for us is that there's no bad outcome. Either the raiders lose which always gives us great joy... or they win and take one away from the sparky's. either way...

True. It's impossible to root for either of those teams though.
