Still the first game of the season but I want to get at you haters/people/fans who want Broncos to lose and McDaniels to fail.

In case you're too stupid - Spags is the coach most people wanted here...

mcdaniels the only first time head coach to win today i think...

To be fair... McDaniels didn't do **** to win the game today.

It was all Nolan and our defense.

They did have blocked FG returned for a TD called back.

ummm, hes the head coach and partial GM, im sure he had a lot to do with how the entire team performed, not just the offense.

To be fair, he didn't have much to work with. But I'm happy with mcd so far.

Yep, I wanted Spags initially but his squad got shut out, and blown out, by the Seahawks today. It's going to be another long year for the Rams.

That's probably the stupidest thing anyone can come up with to hate on McDaniels.

ya know - the most impressive thing I saw from McD today was at the end. When everyone was jumping around celebrating, he was SCREAMING at everyone to calm the F down because they were going for two, and then ran down the sideline to make sure they got a timeout.

We had 2 dropped ints, one dropped for a TD... so what?

Other than hire Nolan, his staff, and assemble the players on defense who where on the field making plays today.

Not hate, it's a fact. Stop being ignorant.

McD does the play calling and has installed our offense system... it was ****ing pathetic today.

If our team performs well on O he'll get props for it.

Got some info for you... Nolan was hired before the players were assembled. Nolan had personal input on the decisions made (in terms of defense), hence a player like Ronald Fields being our NT (was in San Fran with Nolan).

Nolan deserves immense credit for today's win.

McD needs to get the offense clicking next week in Cleavland.

So if McDaniels loses it's his fault but if he wins he doesn't get credit? You do realize he called up Nolan to ask him to help him out? You DO realize McDaniels is not just an OC but a HC?

Nothing ignorant - HC is responsible for everything that happens...

Never said that. Please try reading the entire thread as I got into that. I said if the offense performs pitiful it's on McD's shoulders. It performed pitiful today, while the defense which is under Nolan performed exceptional. GM decisions have nothing to do with the actual coaching which is what I'm judging McD on.

I do agree with you to an extent Uber, McD does have a lot to work on, but this guy had something to do with bringing these guys onto this team. But anyone who says McD and the O dont need work are crazy....that said... we gotta win today!!:strong:

It'd not - that's why I said it's just the first game... lol trust me I understand that a lot of things take time... that's why I SMH when I see threads like start Simms next week.

What's even more amazing is that someone dumb enough to say that a HC "had nothing to do with" a victory is able to type.

no doubt. Yeah, the HC doesn't have anything to do with how the team performs. quite possibly one of the most stupid things I have heard hear yet.

Very convenient. Would you mind sharing with jhns that there are other people in this organization that make personnel decisions because that point seems to be lost with him.

Umm, Spags lost badly but let's be real here, DVOA wise, the Rams last year were one of the worst teams EVER. They were almost as bad as the Lions so Spags has a crapload more work to do than McD did.

And Caldwell, Ryan and McD all got wins today as rookie HCs.
