Anyone interested in watching Cutler tonight. This will be a big test....he's going to either stink up the joint or more than likely play great.

You can bet the football pundits will be watching the game with great interest......so as to kinda keep the drama going.

It will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure. He will like he has something to prove thats for sure.

He's either going to make us hate McDaniels and the fact we have Orton even more, or he's going to calm down the fact we lost him.

I'm hoping for the second, but think it's the first.

I actually really like Aaron Rodgers too, so here's hoping he out-duels Cutler.

Go Jay...beat the Pack.

Actually, GB is probably going to be pretty good this year, so it might be a tough game for him...but he's a stud, he'll make some plays and I hope he dominates.

The Bears Defense looks awfully stout. Cutler went something like 13-2 as a starter when the Defense held opposing teams to 21 points or less.

its another example that sitting on the sidelines for awhile definitely works, especially for players who might need some development. obviously not all QBs need that, matt ryan shows...but it is the right idea for some and probably benefits every QB if they have the opportunity to sit awhile.

Whatever, go ahead and make this about the Alphonso pick/your dislike for McDaniels. When it comes down to it Denver is probably going to be better off the more Chicago loses this year. Simple as that, and reason enough to pull for the Packers/Vikings/Lions, etc.

On a serious note... even though most of us want Cutler to fail (better pick for is and helps justify losing him), he still is vastly superior to any QB we have now.

I'm not quoting a conversation about Smith you said (WTF are you talking about?). I am quoting your generally long held position on this topic. Is that or isn't it your long held position? I'm pretty sure it is. If so, I fail to see how you can take issue with anything. The fact is that the FO manuevers around with picks horribly and throws value away, so what's the huge benefit about getting a top pick when we're just going to do that. Actually, there's a detriment....specifically, the cost involved as it gets higher and higher up. The pick will be....where it will be. It has no bearing on anything. I'm rooting for our best interest given the facts of what the FO likes to do in the draft in terms of manuevering and value. They don't care about getting equal value, so they pissed away the only benefit of drafting higher (if you believe, as YOU do, that its a crap shoot high or low).

2) Bennet gave up on another play

3) Desmond gave up on a route and caused the interception

1) Peyton Hillis dropped a easy catch on 3rd down.

2) Marshall let a ball go right through his hands.

3) Marshall dropped a couple passes.

4) Offensive line didn't do a good job of blocking on the sack that put them out of FG range.

5) How many times did Broncos get called for holding? Especially on the drive before last on that screen play on 3rd down that gave them a first...

Difference? Orton didn't turn the ball over.

Did we really want to pay 2 first round picks 2 years in a row? That's very costly, not to mention the FO felt that Smith was worthy of the draft pick given up, and Alphonso is by no means disappointing.

Nice ad hominem attack, though.

This seems to be lost with some people. Drafting in the top 10 is not necessarily a good thing. You pay twice and sometimes three times as much for a player. I remember when Landry was drafted for the Redskins a couple years ago at pick number 7, he became the highest paid safety EVER. He may turn out to be one hell of a safety but he may not.
