But to suggest he will embarrass him all day is a laugh.

Let's just hope this isn't like that Monday nighter in Cincy when he DID embarrass Champ.

Although to be fair, Champ did get a pick, what, 2 seasons ago guarding 85? That games was in the snow, they botched a PAT at the end. Wild game.

Simple, he is a talented WR. What reason do you have to believe he won't return to the 90 catch, 1000 plus yard, 7 TD guy like he has in the past?

1) Carson Palmer has never been the same since the Steelers took out his knee in the playoffs 4 years ago.
2) Oline will never allow Palmer enough time to find the open receivers.
3) Whose Your Momma isn't there anymore to take the heat off Chad.
4) Cincy is a one trick pony and Chad is their one trick.

I know Chad is a head-case, but c'mon he's funny!
Remember when he said he was going to run a slant route, catch the ball and punch Ray Lewis in the mouth!! Even Lewis started laughing when the media told him.

The media LOVE Chad, 'cause he says wacky crap they can easily take out of context to write a story with. So he like to "play" them from time to time.;)

As far as I know he ONLY EVER bad mouths players he knows off the field, so when the media rush to that player saying "Chad said ..." all they do is laugh!

Because both he and Palmer may have regressed. I just don't think it's a sure thing is all.

Just one thing to remember...

Palmer only played in four games last year due to an elbow injury. His backup (Fitzpatrick) was awful, which is why Ocho-Stupido (and the other Bengal receivers) had reduced stats.

I expect Palmer to be back to speed again (though he's dealing with a preseason ankle sprain) and the Bengal WRs will put up some good numbers so long as he stays healthy.

That's really kinda sad....but that's the purpose he and his ilk serve I guess, they're for people who are bored by the game itself and need something extra in order to watch it. Kinda like people who only go to hockey games to see if a fight breaks out or not.

It was a great pick by Champ. It looked like Chad had it but Champ just took it away from him. Also if I remember, champ held him to like one catch for 10 yards or so, and also caused a fumble on him. great game by champ. Hopefully things won't chage for this game. It's a great matchup that's for sure.

Beantown Bronco

I seriously doubt they keep Ochocinco on Champ's side all game long like they have in the past. No more TJ on the other side means they'll probably have to move Ocho around more like the Pats did with Moss last year (and every other team seems to do with their #1s when they face us). The question is, will Nolan keep Champ on the left side of the defense no matter what or will he have Champ shadow Ocho?

I'm not sure what Nolan's philosophy is about this, but I'm anxious to see.

Meanwhile, "Dos Cuatro" is ready for Ochocinco. Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey has defended the loquacious Chad Ochocinco before and "I love the way he talks," Bailey said. "He has respect for me, and I have respect for him. I know what he's capable of and he knows what I'm capable of. It's not like he's talking to belittle you. He's an entertainer, and he knows it, and he uses that ability to talk to the fullest. He gets to some people, but he knows he can't get to me."
