"It is also not impossible that the US will experience the kind of economic collapse from first to Third World status experienced by Argentina under the national-socialist governance of Juan Peron."

"There are "troubling similarities" between the US President's actions since taking office and those which in the 1930s sent the US and much of the world spiralling into the worst economic collapse in recorded history, says the new pamphlet, published by the Institute of Economic Affairs.

In particular, the authors, economists Charles Rowley of George Mason University and Nathanael Smith of the Locke Institute, claim that the White House's plans to pour hundreds of billions of dollars of cash into the economy will undermine it in the long run. They say that by employing deficit spending and increased state intervention President Obama will ultimately hamper the long-term growth potential of the US economy and may risk delaying full economic recovery by several years. Like I ask every rightard: If you were president right now, what would you have done with the destroyed economy handed to you by Bush, the man whose ass you rightards have been kissing for eight years?

Bail outs? No bail outs? Stimulus? No stimulus? Sit back and watch the banks fall? Come on, let's hear your genius.

LOL

You know that your party is in trouble when literally every decision that they have made fast out of the gates in their governmental monopoly is being questioned by their own constituency.

No stimulus package, No cash for Clunkers, but I agree with the Bank Bailouts those were important so the economy could grow again at some point. Also I would have liked a budget that didn't spend more then any President has ever spent.

It was a republican President and sec treas that put forth the tarp plan and it is what saved the country.

Also his cap and trade energy policy is really bad, even though that really hasn't been fully passed.

Oh yeah and then his attempt to socilaize medicine, I could do without that.

The last straw will be when he chickens out in Afghanistan as soon as his base starts to crack on the casualties.

That will happen soon, and he'll use whatever reason he can (whether it makes any sense or not) to make it happen.
