Well that isnt good but I wont worry until it forces him to miss games

Plus Olsen has looked good, I think we would be OK between him, Hochstein, and Lich were a guard or center to go down

Sounds to me like he'll be okay by the opener ???

I love Ben, but the team really likes Seth Olsen. And with the new in-line blocking scheme, Ben might not even last the season as a starter, and almost certainly not starting next year.

He'll be traded to a ZBS team at some point. Maybe the Texans.

Ben was too small for Shanny's revamped line, he is way too small for McD's line. He just has vet experience that McD obviously gravitates to, but I'm sure the young guys will get their chances soon.

He also a guy that can play LG, RG, or Center and he's quite a bit younger than Wiegmann. Hamilton is your future Center... not Lichtensteiger.

I thought Olsen was already replacing Kuper?

Depending on the severity of Kupers ankle injury, he may not miss any regular season games

Last I heard it was a high ankle sprain. IIRC those take a while.

They love Seth Olsen. Right now Olsen is the backup at all three interior line spots, in that when Weigmann sat out practices, they moved Hamilton over to center, and Seth in at LG. Seth Olsen is really a stud

For Dbacks, Rb's, WR's Linebackers it can ruin a season and never heal enough for them to play well.

But for big guys in the trenches they can tape it up like its wrapped in cement, then go out and plod around.

He's a tough kid don't be surprised to see him out there.

Any time a starter in the O-line goes down it's not good. If we had both him and Kuper out for Cincy an already immobile Orton could be in trouble. Let's hope this is nothing.

I don't think we were watching the same game. Look at it again and focus in on Olsen. It's noticeable he was getting pushed in the backfield on every other play.

You still don't want to rush him back though. He's still young and don't want him to injure it anymore than it already is. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses the first couple of games.

i am actually ok with that. i like Ben, but i am all for getting younger, bigger and stronger on the line.

Id hope theyd hold on to him for a while until they have a better feel for what works. It could end up being the case that the ZBS saves their bacon.

Orton has to be ****ting. He spent his entire time in Chicago running for his life behind a bad line, and now ours is getting banged up.

It's early, though. Guys get dinged up. Let's hope we can start the season relatively healthy.

They may love Olsen, but he was getting eaten alive in the run game against the Bears.

Hamilton is done.

We mght as well get another beefsteak at G to run behind Clady for the slow Moreno.

The time have changed, but not reality.

Ben was like Nalen.

And Lepsis. It wouldn't suirprise me he is pup.

Yeah, but look on the bright side. If they go 4-12, it will be extra awesome for you.

Dude...

We lose Hamilton...

It's gonna have a HUGE ripple effect on the OL, and it will SIGNIFICANTLY effect Clady.

Hamilton can NOT get hurt. He's now my favorite person in the Broncos organization and he simply

Cannot

Get hurt.

Depends on your definition of sprain.

He'll be Ok to play in the near future...as far as cincy goes, if he is ready he will play but it doesn't make sense to rush back and furhter injure himself. Chris can be his own worse enemy that's why I'm such a physical wreck...I continued to play hurt and now I'm paying the price.

Well unless he's traded by Week 6 he wont be traded by us. He's a UFA next year.

Well, my point was Olsen will probably be the guy next year, they really like him. As a rook, he's 2nd string all three interior line spots, that's impressive. Schleuter, McChesney and Lichtensteiger are all three gone.

Ben will go as a UFA to a ZBS team then ;D

He has been getting treatment all day, everyday and says his back will be fine by Sunday. He has NOT been seen by a back specialist.

University of so Colo..

And we had a flag league up here that played charity games against law enforcement and firefighters (3 games per season) I made the mistake of playing til I was 35 and we never practiced enough to get in football shape. It was a lot of fun though.
