I'm sure there is another thread somewhere on this but I'm lazy and I wanted to share as much as I can without breaking any team rules/policies (sp?)

Chris is okay and will be back as soon as he can. It isn't his knee thank goodness and he is a tough kid but he will hopefully listen to his body and not rush his return.

Thanks to everyone and their kind words...it means a lot to Chris and his family. I will give an update as soon as I know what the team has released. Sorry I haven't gotten on sooner but I was on the road and didn't have 'puter access.

Without getting into too much detail, kupesdad, is all this talk of a hidden uproar in the locker room just a bunch of talk?

I haven't read about any uproar.. what's it about and I will let you know as much as I can share.

All I know right now is that Cutler didn't see Chris after the game but he called him within a half hour after it was over

I'm going to the doctor right now so I will log back on after I get back..thanks again to all of the people who expressed concern for Chris and a big F*** Y** to those that didn't... just kidding:~ohyah!:

Can't wait to have Kupe back. He must feel good to be on the ground floor of such a great line. I really hope McD picks up on the fact that this line can pound the ball.

If there was locker room discord, Chris's father isn't going to put his son in any jeopardy with the organization by divulging details of it on a public forum. The organization would know right where it came from, and put screws on it quickly.

This is why "sources familiar with the situation" exist.

Thanks for the update Kupes Dad! I appreciate you taking the time out of your schedule to update us lowly arse wipes with the news of your son and the organization. I think if I were in your position I would be too angry with a lot of the posters to even take the time and effort.

We need Chris to fully recover to make our superbowl run this year! Tell him to eat his wheaties.

and i hope he doesnt get too caught up in running man blocking, the line isnt built for that. in the red zone i think even shanahan ran man blocking up the middle however. and i hope hillis gets a lot more carries this weekend.

KD how much did it cost you to feed chris per month when he was a kid? are we talking bank loans? or did you just have him spend the night at his buddies alot.

When Chris came back from college during the summer between our three boy's and their visiting friends, I would go to costco every 10 days and spend between $600 and $900. Our house has always been the foster home for every child that had any parental, scholastic, or law enforcement issues, Since I was a member of the coaching staff, I had to make sure I wasn't aiding and abetting but it's a matter of definition. We "adopted" a senior fb player until he was in college.

We'd all love that, but ... anyone else remember back to Kurt Warner's last season in St Louis? ... His wife calling talkback radio and blatantly contradicting the team medical reports ... it's a dangerous road to travel! ;)
