Correct.

Instead of being 256-256 combined, it's 280-232. I didn't want to put that much effort into it.

So do I, but I don't see it. This is how I see 2009 unfolding.

I am interested to hear why the Raiders and Chiefs are 3 and 4 games, respectively, better than the Broncos.

Granted, they each get to play the lowly Broncos twice (guaranteed wins!), but they do have similarly tough schedules.

Cassells hurt, they fired their OC, the team is in complete disarray and you have them winning 7 games in practically the same brutal schedule as the Broncos?

Retarded.

Unfortunately, I honestly think KC is on the upswing. I love their coaching staff.

Oakland played semi decent under Cable, and this is only a 1 game improvement over last season... not exactly a turn-around story...

The Saints are my surprise team to go to the SB (along with the Steelers).

Knowshon will be the OROY.

Biggest disappointments will be Atlanta and Minnesota both missing the P\Os.

They fired their OC so a better coach can call the plays and Matt Cassells injury looks like it only inhibit PRACTICE in week 1. Sorry. I wish I thought they were going 0-16, but I don't.

Feel free to make your own predictions... that's kinda the point of this thread.

Since I don't think Denver will make it to the playoffs, I'm pulling for a Manning vs Manning SB or a Rivers vs Cutler SB. The drama in either would be awesome.

Is it even a football discussion when the facts so out of whack they make no since? At least take time to actually have the number of wins and losses right. Otherwise what good is it? It's worthless.

And it's more about the general theme than anything else. 280 instead of 256... that's .75 wins per team off. If you can't get past that, then you're as dumb as you type here

Not the worst, but a bad team with a rough schedule for sure. I think there are definitely worse teams out there that have better opportunities to steal wins so will finish with a better record.

As is, I see Denver taking one from Cleveland, and MAYBE getting a couple more between KC, Oak and Washington.

You really dont' think we can beat Cincy eh? I know Champ usually struggles with Ochocinco, but they don't have much else. And their defence is pretty weak isn't it? Who do they have running the ball these day, Rudi Johnson? I guess the Broncos have been gashed by far worse than him...but I'm holding out hope! :sunshine:

No, I'm actually really high on Cinci this season. They're my sleeper team.

Anyways, all this is counter productive and partly my fault. This thread isn't meant to be a downer on the Broncos, there's enough of those all over and my opinions on the team and it's issues have been clearly stated elsewhere. Hopefully we can keep this to predictions of this season and have some fun with it.

I expect them to be a good team in regards to forcing turnovers, and an above average one offensively. Definitely a far from great team but a tough and decent one, like the 49ers when they went 7-9 a few years ago.

I'd rather make a small spelling error or use the wrong phonetic word then not be able to add. A prediction of wins when the numbers don't add up is not even worth discussing.

Make the math work then maybe it would be worth looking at.

Seriously though you would make a way better English teacher then football coach.

Wells would have been my original choice but not so sure about his injury history. i also toyed with the idea of making Harvin my choice for OROY. i just think we are going to lean on our back this season, and with Moreno being the best of the bunch i predict he has a big year.

i truly believe that Kubes has that team ready to break through. if Schaub stays healthy(big IF) they could surprise a lot of people.

Ahhhhhhhhh good call actually.

He's starting from day one and has a solid supporting running game and defense. He really could run away with it early.

However, I think we're gonna lean on Knowshon early and often and he'll put up a GREAT season for Denver.

Definitely coming down to those two, barring injury.
