But...but....tsiguy said he called Jay "butthurt" in an interview, so therefore it means he must truly hate Jay even though he compared him to Elway and Marino (after all, those were just "vanilla" comments, anyway).

Nuance guys. It's perfectly reasonable to believe that Champ might be upset with how Cutler handled the regime change, but given the time, and his respect for his former teammate and his talent Champ would be warm to Cutler.

I'm warm in person to plenty of people whom I don't really care for. So is everyone.

Quit reading into a freaking snapshot.

And can we just end the charade that the Cutler widows aren't the ones who keep bring this stuff back up. And slapping eachother on the back for it so it keeps happening ad naseum.

This is exactly what I'm sayin man.

I know that post-game I only seek out and put my arm around people I loathe.

This is just more evidence.

Champs probably going to get in trouble for being in that picture. Joe Ellis probably told the team that this sort of thing is not allowed.

Either that, or they will see this and try to disallow such a thing in the future.

Champ doesn't hate Cutler. I have no doubt that he didn't like the way he handled himself, but Champ is a pro. He's going to shake hands, exchange pleasantries and be on his way. He's not going to get into some sort of Marshall/Porter slap-fight in public over this ****.

Hate? No. Issues? I'd suspect so.

But, really... what does it matter.

If I don't like someone I avoid them --it's the passive aggressive thing to do when you dislike someone........acting as though you may be fond of someone really shows how disingenuous one can be IMHO although it is VERY common as you stated...strive to not be average....."If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all......."

This is what we have to look forward to this season. Constant whining and sniveling from the haters, and constant I-told-you-so's every time either side has the opportunity. It's going to be a looooooooong year, particularly if the team struggles which it probably will. I'm going to be needing a Benzodiazepine or three. Maybe marijuana. Or perhaps Oxycontin. Or maybe just pull the plug and go Propofol.

This thread would have been better if Champ pic'ed Jay off.

It would have been better if the Denver D had any turnover at all this entire PS.

It's a post attacking a completely base-less claim that grew into a popular belief on this board that Bailey hated Cutler and was glad to see him go. If you encourage that behavior, good for you, but it's flat out stupid and isn't something we need more of.

What is your defintion of "base-less"
Champ was on a radio show and was quite critical of Jay, someone posted the recap here.

But I guess because they were seen talking it means the interview never happened.....

"No, not at all," Bailey answered when asked if he ever questioned
Cutler as a leader. "He reminds me of a Marino, Elway type of guy,
and heís going to be a great winner for (the Bears). Itís unfortunate
for us that we had to lose a guy like that. He can be the best in the
game, he has that ability. He'll win a lot of games for them."
