With McKinley performing (albeit not on KRs) one of these guys is on the bubble. Personally, I like Lloyd. He's shown more big play ability for me. Jackson is another guy that benefits from having been in the NE system previously. We've got enough slot WR types. Has anyone seen him stretch the field?

Before that insane catch last night, I would have said Jackson...now I'm leaning towards Lloyd.

There is no Lloydson.

Actually, I think we keep them both. Gafney is out for a while with the thumb and who knows with BMarsh. Jackson, Royal, Stokley, Lloyd and McKinley give us just five healthy wideoouts. If not for the Gafney injury, I would say Lloyd.

You're right. We should all go back to your six threads on the front page about how mcdaniels puts your panties in a twist.

They both stay, Chad Jackson started last night opposite of Eddie Royal and Stoke was in the slot as always. Brandon Lloyd was 4th WR and hes made some nice catches for us.
I say they both stay a long with the rookie McKinley

Keep 'em all! And teach 'em to play corner...
:)
Honestly, I wish some of our backup WRs would take some D reps and learn how to tackle...might be a useful skill with our QBs this year. just jokin...har har har

i think they both MIGHT make it..tough though
marshall, royal, stokely, gaffney, mckinnley, jackson, lloyd
pat's have kept 7 WR before, and we would have ridiculous depth if we did keep them all.
It's probably gonna go down to the final preseason game, that is if one is indeed cut.

probably keep both.
But chad jackson will make the team before lloyd does.

Lloyd. Jackson didn't do anything in NE.

Exactly. It's gonna be deja vu for McD to cut Jackson. It will just feel natural.

I prefer Lloyd, but I want to know, what's the story?
He went from All Star WR pulling off crap like this:

To now being on the bubble with a team that's (reasonably) weak at WR???
"Wha-happen?"

The word is that he can make insane catches like that, but can't get open easily nor does he catch the mundane balls.
