Even if it is the Chiefs, preseason injuries always suck.

Broncos-Chiefs is a war. It's not supposed to be pretty. Cassel is ****ing lucky I didn't pay some goon to run on the field with a baseball bat and whack him in the knee caps:rofl:

I will resort to the lowest tactics to make sure Denver wins. The Broncos are my gang.

by the way as painful as it is to say, chiefs have a much better defense than we do, and i know this is not a profound statement. their offense will struggle, but defensively they will be decent this year

That can't be true I heard Nolan alone is enough to improve our D. Someday people will get that talent fixes teams not big name coaches. We are on the right track though.

I want the Broncos to win against the best. Not saying Cassel is the best but he's the best the Chiefs have got. Seems to me Harding tried to cheat that way against Kerrigan. Nobody likes a cheater and no one appreciates a team that beats the 2nd or 3rd stringers. Pathetic to wish or contemplate injury to a player.

My guess is he sprained his knee like Knowshon did

He didnt stay down, but he did limp off the field.
One of the reporters said he needed help to walk down the stairs to the trainers room

Are you watching the same games I am?

Our defense looks worlds better than the Chiefs. The Chiefs only had 2 sacks coming into this game, we have had 7 or 8 already.

I think the Chiefs have the least talented defense in the NFL.

What a crock.

They were worse than us last year, haven't made the improvements we have, their DC is a guy who got fired last year and they're converting to a 3-4 as well.

The only thing more impressive than the pts the AZ offense put up was that their defense allowed very close to the same amount. Pendergast led D's gave up last year 56, 47, 35, 37, 48 and a bunch of 20 plus games.

Yeah. Tyson Jackson is laughing all the way to the bank.

So is Jared Allen. KC traded him because they didn't want to pay him and they turn around and give a guy who has never played an NFL down the highest money ever for a 5 technique DE. I'm sure the KC homers will be here with some stupid deflection explaination.

Jackson will NEVER be worth what they spent on him. Even if he turns into a solid player, they've still overpaid. Jackson himself was shocked as hell with where he went.

they said Cassels big adjustment in NE was when they told him your first read is Welker, If he's open throw, if not look for Moss, then check down.

Without Welker and Moss that might not work so well.

Injuries suck, even when it's on the enemy's team so I'm not happy to hear about that. But the injury is irrelevant because Thigpen is the best QB on the team IMO.

Bob's your Information Minister

Thigpen darn near played himself off the roster tonight.

He's ****ing terrible.

When you make statements like that it's plainly obvious you don't watch the games. Either that or you're completely ignorant.

boltaneer
08-29-2009, 09:28 PM
I didn't see tonight's game but I've seen plenty of games Thigpen has played in.

Also, does it really matter who is QB behind that horrid offensive line? They're all gonna get killed back there.

His accuracy is bottom of the barrel for an NFL quarterback.

There are few things in this world that I love more than when someone here plays the "karma card." Seriously, if the members of the Mane held that much cosmic power over the planet, I think it's safe to say that there's no way in hell we'll make it to December of 2012.

The weird thing about Jackson is that I thought he was going to be really good against the run, and slow against the pass. From what I saw tonight, he got pushed around on run plays, but did pretty well against the pass.

He's a "wait and see" kind of player. He looks like he belongs on the field, but I don't know if he is any better than a "journeyman" like Kenny Peterson. Way too early to tell on Jackson, and Dorsey.
