"No. 7 is slated to marry former Raiderette cheerleader Paige Green at his lakeside digs in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho."

I wonder if they will go see a Sandy Point Idaho Mens Handball Tourney after the ceremony?

I didn't know Elway had a pad in CDA.

That puts all the Greats within a one hour drive of each other.

Elway, Jake.....and me ;D.

He'll still enjoy it. Look, its like he was an invading horseman, he rode into Oakland and LA, conquered them and took their women. Good for him.

From Elway's Facebook page - which he almost never updates: "I decided to mix it up a little and change the football profile picture. This one's more comfortable. Besides, people don't blind side you in jeans. I'm heading to Idaho this weekend to finish up the summer and, oh yeah, get married. I'm very lucky, my wife to be, Paige is a beautiful person -- insdide and out. Small wedding with our family and friends...should be fun."

John Elway is going deep Saturday. The ultimate Home Game. The final Hail Mary.

No. 7 is slated to marry former Raiderette cheerleader Paige Green at his lakeside digs in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

This is Elway's second drive to the altar. (He was married for 18 years to Janet Elway and they had four children before divorcing in 2003.)

Elway, 49, met Green, 42, at a golf tourney in LA in 2005. But he didn't make his move until he saw her again in an info-mercial and tracked her down. She moved to Denver in 2007.

As reported last fall by colleague Penny Parker, Elway popped the question in Venice, Italy last September.

Elway did not return calls from the Denver Post.

A group of friends are flying to Idaho for the nups, including close pal Craig Andrisen, business partner Tim Schmidt, sportswriter Rick Reilly and their wives. With lotsa family coming, about 50-60 people are expected at the wedding.

Again people need to title better and be clear in what the thread is about...

Frick'n place is hack enough no need to have one word threads with zero description.

There's probably some good lines about finding the open receiver but I think I'll pass on that this time.

I'll bet he made her wear a Raider jersey and "hate-boinked" the sh*t out of her when they first started dating. Only on Sundays, though, because afterwards she probably couldn't walk right for a week and needed time to recuperate.

You must not be married. You never know if they're serious about it until then.

I remember reading an article somewhere that he had his SB MVP SUV stolen from the lot in Idaho where he keeps his extra/show cars.

I think they found it intact with no damage.
