Jury Duty ****ING Sucks!

This is the most boring, tedious thing I have ever had to sit through. Sitting in a big, hot room with some of the biggest trash the county has to offer....for a minimum of 5 days.


And to make matters worse, my county is retarded. Even if you sit on a case, and your 5 days aren't up, you still have to serve the rest of your days and might even get on another case. Yet there are people sitting in the big "pool" room that haven't been called all week.

But seriously..............scum of the earth here...........wouldnt want my fate in the hands of these people.

Five days? Damn. I seem to get called every year, but here they usually notify you by phone the night before whether you need to show up or not. I've never been assigned to a case. But it's only a one day commitment.

Been on juries many times and consider it part of my civic duty - just like voting. Sure, it doesn't pay well and it is mostly time wasted but it is a critical part of our judicial system and if you leave the jury to "trash" imagine what verdicts they will pass on your behalf if you aren't there?

Jury duty is fun. Everytime I have sat on a case I always feel like both paties should go to jail.
