No surprise. The only people to realize he isn't a great player are a few people on this board. The rest of the world thinks we're f'n crazy, which is hard to disagree.

If yesterday is a tell-tale sign, we traded a franchise QB AND a top 5 draft pick in the span of 3 month's.

Running a franchise doesn't get much more stupid than that.

At the same time, i hope we look brilliant in the end but the odds are stacked against us.

Mine are the Chargers towels they pass out at the games (which seems everytime we play them) but I think Lex bought 200 of them and started his Broncos fans for Cutler fan club.

Not suprising. Whenever a name player moves to a marquee team his jersey sells a lot.

It must be all those fans that are a "9" on the Cutler scale. Us "6" ranked fans just couldn't buy enough jerseys to reach the Bears fans level.

I have to disagree with that statement. Many people from the NFL Network as well as radio, internet and newpapers were skeptical to say the least about Cutler because of his diabetes, win/loss record, lack of leadership and bad decision making on the field. Of course there were alot of people that said he was a star QB and we were crazy but I have heard a ton of people that have said Cutler really hasn't done anything yet and to call him great was certainly premature in their minds. So I think that covers alot more people then just a few here and by no means is the rest of the football world sold on Cutler yet.

alot of the people who look at the trade go omg they traded cutler, idiots, without mentioning what cutler did to get traded in the first place. sure we prolly shouldnt have traded him regardless of him sitting at home, but still, his attitude and maturity showed up this offseason thats for sure, and made some of us take a step back and realize hes not the greatest thing ever, and has a lot of development needed before hes manning, brady etc. hes not gonna get that development in chicago thats for sure.

Exactly lol. Same happened with Favre and the Jets.

So you would rather cover your eyes and ears like a 3 year old and pretend like it didn't happen, rather than acknowledge it and criticize the organization (rightfully so) for it? I don't understand. His point is that the organization was retarded for these moves, not that he thinks we should get him back. Argue the actual point rather than resorting to grade-school crying.

The rest of the football world thinks losing him was completely retarded.

All you need to do is look at superbowl odds coming out of Vegas before and after the trade. The Denver Broncos' superbowl odds have skyrocketed after the loss of the best player on the team, that says it all. There is no homerism in gambling odds.

As soon as he starts throwing more picks, just like the first preseason game, Chicago will jump off the bandwagon, just like we did.

The point? Okay, I'll argue the point.

Cutler went to a larger market with a hungry fanbase, none of which had his jersey. ALL of them went out and bought one.

EXACT same thing happened last year in New York with Favre. So stop pretending this means anything substantial.

Great player? Great talent, maybe. I'll give you good player, but I don't see where he's yet proved to be a great player. Great players don't turn in 8 mediocre or worse performances in a season. Great players don't play like crap at home against a division opponent. You're a little bit liberal with the word great.

.

You're ****ing wrong, Colon-beef. Dead wrong.

The rest of the world does NOT think that. In fact, I've had many fans tell me they can't stand the guy, and many fans think we got the better of the deal. Cutler does NOT have a reputation as anything more than a physical talent with a very questionable mental game.

You're free to get on the Bears-colored bus with your Jay-Gays and follow him around the country, but quit projecting your own bizarre man-worship of this guy to the rest of the football world.

Cutler is widely seen as a punk by a large portion of NFL fans.

You seem to get pretty upset over something that doesn't mean anything.

Anyways, Favre has a good chance of passing him soon again.

I'm pretty upset at the notion that it means anything. Because it doesn't, and it is retarded.

I'm not sure how you're getting 'upset' from a post on a message board, but do whatever you need, buddy.

Favre probably won't pass him this year, just because Vikings fans have hated him for years. I have a couple buddies in Minny that flat out don't want the guy.

You are a weird one. You are upset but don't get how I would think that you are upset? Do those two paragraphs really make sense right next to each other?

BTW, I can see that you are upset a lot on here because you post like an angry teenage girl in every thread. By the looks of it, you seem to think people care.

It does help w/ revenue, having marquee players, which in turn helps the franchise attract and sign players down the road.

It all makes a difference.
