Had Smith kept his feet that was an easy INT. Had Hill put a little ass behind the ball, it was an easy 6 for SF.

Hill looked alright. DJ Williams looked like crap to me. And probably the most impressive play I saw all night was when Mario Haggan dropped into coverage and covered two guys at the same time. It was the play that resulted in a sack (by ???). But that play showed me exactly why Haggan is starting right now.

Not sure why Crowder dropped so low? Everyone that has watched him at camp agrees that he's been phenomenal.

I have 2 favorite plays by the defense.

1.- they run a screen and doom blows by his man. Then you could seriously see his brain working. hearing that "if its too easy its a screen" coming from nolan. Doom flew in and then realized. Stopped and headed backwards towards the RB. He didnt quite get there, but the rest of the D, reacted to doom and the play and we stuffed it!----That was my fav play by the defense. They understand, they have been taught and now they are executing!

2- After WWII tipped the ball, and bruton/mcbath (dont remember who) knocked the pass away- the rest of the defense went after the ball (even though it was dead) just like they did in practice considreing it a live ball.

That shows me they are conctrating on the ball always. And take coaching well.

I actually think the 3 picks were the best plays by a DB all night...

For DENVER, yeah, good play and one of 4 whole incompletions we "forced".

Smith looked beaten on the play to me. Good makeup speed and an under-thrown ball helped him make the play.

Ouch.

Dre Bly? Interception.

Ouch.

Knowing that our shot at Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy, or some other blue-chip QB prospect is now the property of Seattle and we have a 5-9 CB in place of it?

Double ouch.

Anyone here besides me get a kick out of the Dre Bly interview? The gal doing the sideline reporting introduced him as "Dry Bley" I just started cracking up. "Dry Bley" got this funny look on his face like "wtf?" and then he started answering her questions. But you could see in his face he was a little confused...

Don't you get it by now. The camp reports are great but they will probably be at best 50/50 on guessing who is really impressing the coaches.

so a rookie corner gets only one game to impress the naysayers? Wow that's pretty tough.

Wow Llama. Are you ever optimistic about anything? In your life? Tell me one thing you've had a positive attitude about.

He might have looked solid, but he is going to have to look great and soon, considering it is very possible that next year the Broncos are going to wish they had that pick back to grab a top QB.

Was a good play considering he lost his footing and would have been beat had he not swatted it down I was impressed by it cause I thought he was going to pick it off but his feet got tangled with the WR and he managed to keep his composure and still some kind of play on the ball, that shows off his ball skills even tho it wasn't a pick had that been any other CB I don't see them making that play, except Champ.

Do I think Smith will be good? Yeah.
Do I think he'll be worth the draft pick we gave up for him? Not so much.
