This is actually pretty incendiary stuff for our time. Reagan is basically giving the playbook. These are actual marching orders. Incredible to see. I'd love to talk to my media profs of 10 years ago and pick up some discussions that we had back then.

Reagan bitched about "socialized" medicine, supposedly granting increased power to the government as the new commie threat, then he turned around and trumpeted a phony war on crime built on bogus statistics that granted vast new powers of control to the judiciary that Bush 41 and GWB pushed even farther through their bogus "war on drugs" to repeal Americans civil rights and allow federal control over things they were never intended to have.

You would think the level of cognitive dissonance required of ditto monkeys would eventually make their heads explode.
