In anticipation of the release on Friday, how does this work? I mean I have played millions of games of Madden, but never used a headset to talk to someone online.

The only reason I would ever want to use this is when I play people I know (friends, cousins, etc) and give them a hard time since I live in another state than them I think it would be fun to talk to them.

How does it work? Thanks guys

It's never good to have radio waves beamed at your head for an extended amount of time.

I am guessing you have a PS3? If thats the case, you sync up the headset with the system, and generally its like having a buddy right in the room with you. If I am understanding what you mean by how does this work?

Yeah I have a ps3, but is there a setting or something I have to turn on when we start a game so the blue tooth will work?

Also is there a special brand I should get, or does it matter?

PS3 has chat settings, you should be able to go there for it. Sony offers bluetooth headsets, but here is something that should help.

Aren't we constantly surrounded by radio waves all the time anyway?

I got Madden on Sunday! Iw as so excited, soe store was selling it early. Kyle Orton is pretty awful and our o-line is bad also. Knowshon is too slow. Bmarsh is great and so is royal and hillis. But Orton's release is far too slow.

Get the official Sony one that comes with Socom (can be purchased separately). Its the best choice for the system and links up with slightly less hassle. It also lets you see the headset battery indicator on screen.
