This may be a stupid question, so forgive me if it is...

It's public knowledge that Schefter is now reporting for ESPN (which might help bring the Broncos into the discussion more since ESPN has such a knack for overlooking us). Anyways, Schefter has been the best national media-guy to report on all things football, especially when it concerns the Broncos. But I have not seen anything involving him on ESPN yet.

So my question is...What's he doing right now? Usually, he's featured 100x's a day on NFLN during TC. He's a ghost save his tweets on Twitter.

Any help is much appreciated...

Right now hes doing nothing officially apart from twittering all the time. Hes starting at ESPN August 17th.

a-ha! Thanks for the answer. It's still surprising he's not doing much of anything during a time in which good insiders are as valuable as gold.

Personally, I'd like to see Schefter and Mort go toe-to-toe in a 3-round boxing match to determine NFL insider supremecy! :giggle:

Mort would receive the wrong info as to where the fight is held.

They have put Mort on a bus to give way to King Schefter.

Mort was the best for a long time, but Schefter has been the best for about 2-3 years now. I still like Mort, but he pales in comparison. ESPN was wise to bring on Schefter.

I dont think this will go well. There are too many blowhards competing for air time there.

Adam leaks trades before the teams even discusses them and he is right every time

Is he going to be an insider or a sportscaster for ESPN?

After this past offseason, I take everything Mort says as untrue until proven otherwise. His reports were never right and usually didn't even make any sense to a rational human being. I hope they fire him, and soon.

He's doing a lot while he waits to join ESPN. He just visited 7 TCs in 7 days, and is going to Canton for HOF weekend. That's why I love twitter. :)

He is visiting places around the country hoping to start a restaurant blog for the ESPN NFL division. Apparently he has gained a lot of weight in his efforts.
