Well, they need someone to attract ratings and he needs someplace to prove he can still play and get the initial fan/media heat over with.

New league would be perfect for him. Get his football legs back, make a couple million bucks and show that he still has that dynamic ability. Plus like Hogan said, get that initial heat over...

With only four teams being fielded, it's not like he won't get the exposure...he'll be on screen every time they broadcast a game, so yeah...it's a perfect situation for both him and the UFL

he won't make millions in this league. league maximum for playing in this league is something like 570,000 a year.

but if he does that for a year, an NFL team will be much more likely to bring him in for a little more than the league maximum in the new league

According to this article, they want to offer at least 10 players on each team $1m salaries.

that must be a new development, last i read the league maximum was in the range of 570,000. but if he is going to make millions, he better get his mind right and jump at the offer, he isn't going to make millions a year in the NFL right away.
