Just heard it on ESPN news that Wells hurt his leg in a contact drill, but they didn't give the extent of the injury, just said he was carted off.

**OUCH**

That's too bad. He had an opportunity to go into a great situation and really help that team win a lot of games this year. His 4th quarter running will help them put teams away. Hope he makes it back, even if he is a F#ckeye.

The jury is still out on Ayers....he could be a bust as well. I say this b/c he's suddenly came on to the scene with just one great year at Tenn. Now that he's already holding out, he already falls into the trend of becoming another long line of College D linemen who had one great year at the college level, on draft day an NFL team takes a risk in the first round and they never pan out.

If you look at Jarvis Moss last year in college on video he made the same impactfull plays that we now see Ayers having made during his last year in College.

So the Ayers could be a big risk/failure as well. We just won't know until 3 or 4 years from now.

Also, look at the stroke of bad luck the Chiefs have had with drafting supposedly can't miss D linemen coming out of college the last 3 years haven't seem to pan out so far.

Oh no, not this again.......the NFL is one of the most violent physcially challenging sports on the face of the EARTH! Moreno is a long shot at getting Offensive Rookie of the Year as Terrell Davis was.

Lets get realistic here.

Beanie was far and away the most talented runningback in last years draft, but it was still a terrible idea to draft him in the first round. I had icy knots in my stomach on draft day thinking AJ Smith would let his love for bling players get the best of him. Wells has been at practice for what, two days? And he's been carted off already.

Doubt he will get enough carries. McD showed he likes a huge Platoon of RB's to carry the load. I'll bet there is 4 guys with 100 plus carries.
