226 that's not going to work as a inside or outisde lb in a 3/4 defense.

Yeah, he's quite the buffoon. Same with that earwax (?) guy. Why do people like this always seem to find a home in Denver?

I would mind starting Woodyard at Rush linebacker and then bringing in Dumervil on passing downs . Woodyard also seams like a guy who could become a good blitzer.

We have been over this quite a few times around here, but no one seems to listen too much. It has been brought to our attention that San Diego successfully used WILB's in the 220-230 range with great success. If our front three is doing their job, it can work just fine. If they aren't - it doesn't matter if you are a 260lb linebacker - you are going to lose as the LOS.

Wesley's biggest problem isn't his size, because he plays "bigger"" than his actual size. Wesley's biggest problem is DJ's new contract. That pretty much relegates him to backup duty.

it's painful just to know he has a job on radio let alone having to listen to him do anything on the air - he was awful to listen to during Super Bowl 32.

Not just an interview its the whole radio show. Its great when the Nuggets play because he is gone half the time.

Good interview. Im waiting for a player to come out and say "you know what, there is something different about this team and we are going to surprise some people this year"

I think that will fire up the fans

some guys have played in certain 3-4 inside being that small. But yeah usually 3-4 backers bigger, stouter players.

IMO though Nolan is going to design a defense that uses the players he has. Woodyard if he is winning to run around, throw body around, play like a madman can probably find a role in certain situations on defense.

Not big enough to play on 1st and 2nd down at either OLB spot in a 3-4.

When Broncos show 4-3 looks, and I think they will, you could see DJ at SSL and Woodyard at WSL. WHo knows the thing is if woodyard becomes a solid football player I have faith new regime will find a roll for him.
