The question is....will Favre call another retirement press conference to announce this?

Just wait a week.

You could be on to something. Remember, training camp has started, so if he made up his mind to come back now, he would have to go through camp. And we all know how much he hates camp. Wait till the preseason games are about to start up, if he isn't back by then, then he is really gone.

Brad "Blue Balls" Childress

Favre teased him until the last possible second and left him with a hard cock, swollen balls and 2 QBs that no longer trust him.

"I thought you wanted it Brett?"

"Sorry, Chilly....I'm just not into bald guys."

Childress deserves this.

He had ample opportunity to go after Cutler, draft a QB or other moves... and he's had some sort of aloof attitude like they're "fine" at the QB position.

Jarious Jackson (or whatever his name is) has to be the worst starting QB in the NFL. He's ****ing horrible.

I love it. They miss out on Favre, and now they'll have a pissed off "starter" in Jackson.
I guess they did sign Sage R. I wouldn't make SB reservations on that one, but we'll see.

I doubt it. With the interception king, it probably would have guaranteed two wins.

Uh huh. Tavaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels or Brett Favre?

Minnesota might be the best team in the NFC with a real QB under center, and Favre gives them that.

Favre will continue to keep throwing

You didn't think he was going away that easily, did you?

While Brett Favre's public comments appeared to close the door on another flip-flop, his phone conversation with NFL Network's Steve Mariucci left a different impression.

Favre told Mariucci that he was retired, but he's going to keep throwing and continue to work out. (NFL Network's Scott Hansen relayed the news on television and his Twitter account.)

When Mariucci asked how Favre would feel about his decision Wednesday morning, Favre reportedly said, "I'm wondering that myself."

Hattiesburg's most famous resident is spending Tuesday night out with his daughter in an effort to get away from everything.

But it sure sounds like he will go back to torturing the NFL public with indecision in the morning.

I am shocked. I guess he can "flirt" with a come back mid-season. The Vikes would be better off with Vick anyway.

Its obvious Farve's shoulder hasn't healed in time for camp. Who knows he may want to comeback next year as a backup....but also be given a chance to win the starting job. This way, Farve would have the entire year to get his shoulder stronger and get in better shape! Brett waited too long to get his shoulder operated on after the 2008 season.
