As upset as I am about the entire Cutler fiasco, I'm even more excited by this kids potential...

Imagine what he could do on a screen with Dan Graham, and BMarsh blocking for him. One thing I saw on some of those screens was that his receivers gave him no help other than kind of getting in the way of the defenders for a second.

Agree with the op. Great balance, decision-making ability, and vision.

Very dangerous in open field and seems to have a nose for the goal line.

Georgia was one of the worst blocking teams at the second level I have ever seen... With the players we have locking up guys down field... WOW!

Man, that guy can cut.

Also, he threw for a TD! Hadn't seen that clip before.

Couldn't tell you. I was basing my comment on that clip.:giggle:

Besides, we can just let Hillis handle the goal line duties.

Cant wait to see McDaniels find a way to utilize this kid's athleticism.

You get the feeling he expects to score on every play - even if he is playing from his own goal line.

And, he definitely doesn't fall down easily...

He's not a burner like Chris Johnson, but he will make a lot of defenders look pretty foolish with those cuts.

That's a sweet line-up, folks.

another thing i like, he isn't taking a lot of unnecessary contact. he fights for yardage, but he also knows how avoid taking big hits. he plays smart.

i have been waiting years to see Turner work his magic on an already elite RB. he made scrubs serviceable, now lets see what he can do with 1st round talent.

Moreno reminds me a little bit of Gale Sayers -- and also Charley Taylor, both sensational running backs who had the cut back ability.

With that ability -- you don't need a burner.

This should be fun to watch. Hopefully the new coach knows how to use this kid.

How many TD's did he get the last 2 years ?

I think he had 30 or 31 touchdowns.

EDIT: He had 30 rushing TD's and 2 receiving TD's. And I guess he never fumbled in college. 553 touches with no fumbles is damn good, especially in the SEC :strong: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=189614

Their left tackle was hurt as well. It does make for some excitement.

Moreno and Hillis in the same backfield is a huge matchup nightmare for opposing LBs. Hopefully they can take some pressure off the starting QB.

Day 1 of the draft started fine, after that....

..we got our guys....I guess....

He's got great vision and power, speed is very average.

TD was a little quicker in his cuts IMO. Not to mention he was taken much later due to his hammy, but he would of still been 3-4th round.

The combo of Moreno and Hillis just might be dynamic enough to save McDisasters coaching career in Denver. If Orton can't flourish with the caliber of RB's Denver now has......Kyle will prove he's a journeyman QB.

the play starting at 1:01 is just sick!! that's the cut you are all talking about!! That cut was insane!! Great vision!!
I don't think the speed is just average Mock... I don't think is great but is above average for sure.

I just realized he is only a sophomore and only 21. sweet.

Also, no fumbles in two seasons! Wow.

Worst game avg. rush was 3.8 yards.

I went absolutely nuts in my friends living room when he was the pick. He was who I was hoping for since the end of last years draft and we actually got him. He's going to tear it up. I won't make an NFL comparison, but he'll easily be a 1,750 yard guy a year from scrimmage; if not more -- especially with his ability to catch out of the backfield.

complaining about his speed is silly. chris johnson last year i believe had more stuffs at the line than anyone else in the league. speed makes for great highlights, but for everydown ability i want a guy who can make guys miss or break tackles anywhere on the field. not just run away.
