In the absence of a public inquiry into the 7 July bombings, conspiracy theories have filled the vacuum. One of the more inflammatory involves a man hiding behind an Arabic-sounding pseudonym taken from a sci-fi film starring Sting, says the BBC's Mike Rudin.

The 56-minute homemade documentary opens with a view from space and the words: "A message from Muad Dib".

What follows is a stream of allegations about the 2005 bomb attack on London. The film, entitled 7/7 Ripple Effect, accuses former prime minister Tony Blair, the government, the police and the British and Israeli security service of murdering the innocent people who died that day, in order to shore up support for the "war on terror".

A document on Muad Dib's website reveals he believes he is the Messiah and that George Lucas wrote Star Wars after being told telepathically what to write, by the very "Force" to which the films refer.

There were at least three suspicious loose ends about the 7/7 London attack.

1. the government claimed the bombs were taken on the buses and trains in satchels by suicide bombers. But photos of the destroyed bus clearly showed that the bomb was under the floor --- the huge hole in the floor suggested this - - and the fact the steel was bent up from below.

2. The timing and circumstances are just too strange: the British government was conducting a terror drill on the morning of the attack -- get this -- at exactly the same time and at exactly the same place where the "bombings" occurred.

3. someone warned Israel's then former PM Bibi Netanyahu (who was in London about to attend a meeting) not to go down town that morning. This was reported in the world press - and has not been denied, to my knowledge. Would real terrorists have shown Netanyahu this consideration? Of course not. This indicates authorities had foreknowledge

The whole 7/7 affair stinks to heaven Blair was facing a tough re election battle - -- and needed some extra help. British voters were sufficiently scared and/or outraged by the alleged terror attack - then closed ranks behind Blair and re elected him by a narrow margin.

Blair was -- in effect -- saved by the terror attack -- just as M Thatcher's political career was saved by the Falklands War.

Nothing like a good war or terror attack to boost your ratings...

I've tried running a few google queries - but cannot seem to be able to verify this information.
