good list, but I'm lazy: can you put your idea of cuts at the bottom as well?

I'd hazard a guess that it'd be all the other guys.

Good list montrose, though I wouldn't be surprised if McKinley makes it ahead of Lloyd. Someone might poach him off the PS if they leave him there.

Lloyd is just insurance for if they don't get the Marshall situation fixed.

What no Jarvis...this reeks nonsense.

The funny thing is, I thought Jarvis played decently when given opportunities last year. He was our best DE at keeping outside contain and actually got some pressure on the QB occassionally. With that, and I'm hopefuly I'm wrong, I'm just not very confident in his ability to succesfully make the transition to OLB. In studying his play from last year, he does have the athletic ability to do it - but I just don't see the burst off the ball necessary to put pressure on the QB and the guy doesn't have any moves to make up for that. Last year at camp, I was very impressed with Moss' ability to get to the QB as he was dominating some practices exclusively with the bull rush move however once he got into games he didn't have nearly the success with it. Again, I'm hopefuly I'm wrong and he really turns it around but with it looking more and more like Nolan will be installing a 50 front instead of 30 front this season, I think Ayers, Dumervil, Reid and Crowder look like the OLBs.

Lloyd is just insurance for if they don't get the Marshall situation fixed.

That was a tough one for me that I had to think for a while about. However, looking at NE's history they tend to go with veteran WRs over developing young ones. Special teams could also play a big role there too, and I have no idea about either player's history on the units. I went with Lloyd because I have a feeling Marshall may be holding out at the begining of the season and his rapport with Orton from last season but I certainly wouldn't be shocked if McKinley makes the team. They could always keep one less DB too.

Nice, pretty much agree but I'd cut Josh Bell, Chad Jackson, Brandon Gorin and replace with Torian, McKinley and Rulon Davis.

I think Torain will rejoin the team after week 6 in place of a DB or possibly for someone whose been placed on IR. He's not an ideal back for this system but is fine for some depth. Bell could easily be cut although with both Smith and Williams undersized, I think it makes sense to bring back a larger DB; I wouldn't be stunned either way. I just touched on McKinley and I actually think Jackson will be a suprise for us as he knows this offense and has explosive speed. One of the OTA reports I read had him working in with the 1st group. I kept Gorin as I figured we'll keep two backup OTs although it is possible we could try to sneak he or another rookie on the PS. I really like Davis (nicest player I met at Fan Fair, said Go Broncos to every fan and was rocking a throwback Broncos "fitted") but he may be a bit raw at this stage - I'll be rooting for him though.

It's important to remember Lonie Paxton can play all 24 positions so that gives them some roster flexibility.

So all 9 rookies make the team -- or at least the practice squad.

Wow! Let's hope so.

I hope Torrain makes the roster over Buckhalter. I was impressed at how well he played in that Cleveland game coming off of those injuries.

I don't see any of the Patriots players getting cut. McDaniels wants those guys for the locker room.

why must we waste a roster spot on a guy made of porcelain? Torain needs to go.
