I got some kickassed gifts for fathers day that I had to share.

The Mighty Saturns: Saturn V (Extended Collector's Edition)
http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Saturns-Saturn-Extended-Collectors/dp/B0001NBM5I

Journey to the Moon: The History of the Apollo Guidance Computer (Library of Flight Series)
http://www.amazon.com/Journey-Moon-History-Guidance-Computer/dp/156347185X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1245704989&sr=8-1

My 6 year old daugher did some great Crafts in daycare

and the greatest gift was a Tee shirt of my 18 month old son's picture from Daycare. They took the picture the day after he fell at daycare and needed 3 stitches over his eye. It is a classic.

I know it pales in comparison to what Travis Henry must of got but I am one happy daddy!

Thought the rest of you could share your favorites.

Ping Pong Table for the kids. Lots of great memories from when I was a kid. They are making great use of it already. Anyone got paddles they aren't using? A 5 year old just has NO respect for the equipment!

someone else picked the dog **** up, I am not joking...that is the best thing that could have happened

oh and I got Infamous for the PS3 and a pair of Jordans

This was my first Father's Day as a father.

How did I celebrate?

Had a bud over Saturday night and we got polluted until 4:30 am.

I then went and woke my wife up after he left, and gave her a quickie.

I then surfed the Internet for a bit and realized I had the munchies, so I hopped in my 4Runner and got some McDonald's breakfast to take home at 6 am.

Inhaled that, crashed out at 6:30 am....and slept until 12:30 pm.

Woke up and got my Father's Day card and a framed picture of the baby lying on her Broncos blanket.

My wife then left to go visit her parents and took the baby, so I set the AC at 69 degress, put the Tigers on, and had the house to myself.

Wife and baby got back about 5 pm.

Went to my parents around 6 pm to cook out some steaks for them and hang out.

Got back, my wife gave me a massage and a bj to end the evening.

All in all, it was a pretty damn relaxing day.

I got a bunch of great things, but just appreciated the time with the family.

Favorite gift was the one I got my dad... Samsung 42" plasma TV. There were great deals out there for the holiday and I took the plunge. Popps Sr. will be enjoying the hi-def world of sports, which is long overdue for him.

Didn't really get a gift from my son, spending time with him on fathers day is good enough for me.

My father never spent one fathers day with me, ever.

So that's an improvement.

My first fathers day (well the baby isn't due until Sept but she insisted we celebrate) got some decent golf gear I wanted, and a new watch band I've been looking all over town for. Oh and a bj to end the evening. Not too shabby.

Left the comforts of the Marriott Desert Ridge resort Sunday morning after a 2 day stay with the wife and kids. Bought a 32 in Sharp LCD for the bedroom, wife went to work Sunday night. Picked up the dog crap by myself this morning (after the sprinklers went off.... my timing sucked), then had DirecTV installed. Not too shabby of a weekend, except for the dog crap part.

Fellows, nothing worse than polluted sex. But, it was Fathers Day. Just don't make it a habit.

No gifts, but got three meals cooked for me, and my "stepdaughter" told me I was more like a father than her real dad. Better than a gift. ;)

Thanks for the advice, Mrs. Buzzkill.

Next time, I will lay all the beer can tabs and seeds and stems from the weed on the bed like they are rose petals to set the mood.
