You gotta wait for the poll ... sheesh :oyvey:

There's always one knothead who posts something before the thread-starter completes the poll ... what's up with that elsid? ;D

If the broncos are smart they will give marshall a huge incentive based contract and then pay him large cash next year... if marshall is smart he will bust his ass this year to prove he is worth major cash next year... here or else where.

This year I predict 112 catches and an increase on Td's as a bronco

Royal is going ot explode this season

I think he will ... the Wes Welker role suits him.

It's impossible to even guess at this point.

If he stays and plays a full year I reckon it'll be somewhere around the 75-80 receptions mark, but with 10-12 TD's.

Royal meanwhile will go close to 100 receptions, but with a fairly small return of TD's.

Royal will be the primary target until we get to the redzone, at which point Marshall becomes the guy we look for.

79 receptions for 1277 yards and 11 TDs with Denver.

If a player is not happy with the compensation he's getting then he will not perform!

So unless the Broncos pay BM he will not have a productive season.

Yes, because unhappy players in a contract year almost never play well. LOL

Well in this case due to other factors out of his control like say changes in coaches, QB..... he might not get his 100 catches?

True, but that's not the point you were making.

I predict 60-70 passes, 800-900 yds, 5-10 tds. And thats contingent on whether he reports, how bad he's disgruntled, the health of his hip, possible suspensions, and whether BMarsh and Orton can hit it off and gel! Remember neither Orton nor BMarsh has played in the system McD will deploy.

There's still a chance BMarsh could be benched by McD during the season for conduct and behavior thats deterimental to the team!

Really, just too many variables out there to make a sound prediction. The likelihood of a repeat Pro Bowl appearance is even more likely not to happen.

Sorry folks, this is what happens when you fire the head coach, the offensive coordinator, and you can't keep your Franchise all pro QB.

A greater question is whether Brandon will want to hang around long enough as a Bronco during the rebuilding period and playing along side a mediocre QB as in Orton or will BMarsh want to go to a team who's ready to win now! and play along side a Franchise QB.

You need to fix an injury as soon as possible. The hip injury reminds of Rod Smiths injury. Like the warrior he was, Rod played with the hip injury for way to long and it probably ended up shortening his career. Rod may have played and entire year or two with the hip problem.

When you hear the comments..."I'm amazed" Rod finished the season with his hip in that condition. Our the warrior in Rod put team and the game ahead of seeking help for his injured hip; simple caught up with Rod, thus he retired b/c he couldn't rehab his hip. At the time of Rods injury to his hip he should have addressed it immediately. Even had it meant missing an entire season.

I think BMarsh was smart for addressing his hip injury when he did. Just b/c you finish the season as a pro bowler....doesn't mean all is well.

What are you talking about? The surgery should actually help him push off better and get out of his breaks.

Can't agree with that ... if anything, I believe the exact opposite.

50-75 with the Broncos.

I think with a spread offense his numbers are surely to drop off just a bit, wouldn't surprise me to see him in the endzone more tho.

Actually yeah ... why not?

Nice positive spin ... I just hope Pat gives him something, and incentivizes the whole deal to get B working ... cause he's gotta get in and learn this sytem. He doesn't seem like a super-fast learner.

thats exactly waht im saying, everyone is bitching about his hip, but they forget that he just had a 100 catch year when it was messed up, now that they fixed it, is he supposed to get worse?

change at QB will have a huge effect here, I think. But then again, maybe he goes to Chicago!
