I'm watching Best Damn top 50 upsets and Jags had us at like #32 or something. F*ck jacksonville and their stupid ability to play 1000x better than they are against us every time.

God damnit, 15 minute drives, stupid lucky breaks. F*ck you jacksonville.

You guys might think I am crazy, but I enjoyed this 27-24 loss to Jacksonville in 1999 on MNF.

The Jaguars were 14-2 that year and made it to the AFC Title Game. Denver was 6-10 and they hung with them the entire game.

It was Trevor Pryce's coming out party as he sacked Mark Brunell three times. This was probably the game that sealed his first Pro Bowl bid.

And Brian Griese threw a 57 yard pass to Byron Chamberlain to tie the game in the 4th quarter. One of the most exciting offensive plays in what was otherwise a dull year.

I am gonna go ahead and say it. I know, I suck. And I am probably wrong.

If we had gotten past the Jags in that game, we wouldnt have beaten GB in the SB. It was their year. They had finally exercised their Dallas & SF demons, they were a very talented team, they were very hungry, and they werent to be denied.

It was the hunger of losing to Jax that fed the team the following year... even so, they still had their hands full with GB in the SB.

Rather they lose to Jax in the play offs than lose a SB.

But thats just me.

I'm gonna go the other way and respectfully say F U to the original poster. I had a bad night and was starting to feel better and you bring up this old wound. I still remember the pain in my gut from that loss.

I actually had a real hard time with the loss at their place a few years ago when we outplayed em but our retard rb fumbled it away late.

Fvck the Jags and that awful day.

The play by play of that Griffin fumble is still ripe in my brain.
