This time they got my GPS which was hidden, waiting for Denver PD to come file me report. Oh what a lovely year 2009 has turned out to be.

Yah, one of the few times my car was broke into I was living on Capital Hill in Denver... damn I was pissed. It's not like I had a lot of money and the jack holes who stole my radio/cd player just had to break my window too.

It was a 1986 VW Golf for crying out loud and they just haaaad to have my crappy stereo!

Did you leave the GPS mounting unit on your windshield?

That is pretty much an open sign to a thief that one is hidden somewhere.

I had my window smashed in by someone trying to break into my truck last summer when I lived in Downtown DENVER. They didn't take anything but it pissed me off.

Someone broke into our Escalade while we were at the city park on the evening the kiddie rides opened a couple weeks ago. The parking lot was packed (and it's not very big - Pueblo) and it was still light outside.

I guess Escalades look like they have nice stuff in them. They broke a window and grabbed my wife's diaper bag which looks like a nice purse. All they got away with is a bunch of diapers, wipes and some toys. But the effen broken window??

Someone stole my car from my gated lot a couple years ago. I was actually more pissed off because the baseball glove that i had since 7th grade was in it. The car is insured and replaceable (which i did), but the glove wasnt!

I just had the same thing happen to me on Sunday. We just got back into town and I have a habit of when I drive, I hang my watch on the turn signal. Well, my wife wanted to go for a walk so she drove to the walking trail. When she got back, the window was busted and my watch was gone. The also took a DVD player and my Sirius satellite receiver. Things that gets me the most is the car was parked right by one of the busiest streets in town and it happened basically in broad daylight. I'm still fuming!

Someone broke into my mustang while at the restoration shop. Bastards stole my tachometer.

Guy here in Hot Spring ent to Krogers to cash his stimulus check, got blasted on the back of the head. Still only about 20 murders a year here. Little Rock, mostly gangbangers 'bout 100 just them. Comes in spurts of course.

Where was McD? ;D

While I have nothing to base this on but with the down fall of the Denver Broncos I would imagine that the city has turned to a life of crime ;D

Might I suggest throwing on a Calvin Klein turtle neck, driving to the closest low income, minority area, and baselessly accusing everyone you see of taking your GPS and demanding it back?

Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Maybe it's time to install flame throwers on the car to scare people off.

I had my 18's stolen from my Honda a few years back... Not going to replace them so it could happen again. Neither of my alarms were set off, kind of strange.

I have an alarm with satellite connectivity. I can arm / disable / start / track my car on my computer or iphone. I get a text if the alarm goes off, shock sensor goes off, or if the truck moves outside of a set geofence. Plus I never have to worry about locking the keys in the truck. It is worth every penny.

My brother is Massachussetts says people put signs in their windows with the words "No Radio" on them to deter break-ins. He says a freind had a window busted out once and the "No Radio" sign had been flipped over and someone had written "Get One" on it.

Oh, well, just think of theft as part of Obama's goal of "spreading the wealth".
