kinda of a surprise..thought he was a solid special teamer

Nice special teamer but with DJ, Davis, Larsen, Woodyard and Haggan competing inside - I doubt he'd have a legit shot at making the final 53 anyhow.

2nd team a couple days ago to cut before camp. Strange.

Not much of a surprise, he wasn't much good as a backup and his claim to fame was as a special teamer on the worst special teams unit in the league...

I think he was cut to free up salary money for Brandon.

IF you mean Lloyd not Marshall.

Good point...

I always liked Louis, and I disagree that he was poor depth. I'll give this one to Nolan because he actually knows what he's doing, but Louis Green was a pretty versatile players for the Broncos and I'll miss his play.

this one isnt on McDaniels...this is a Nolan cut

Green was good at special teams, well, he was one of the better ones on a weak unit for many years, so maybe that's not saying much. He did not perform well at LB though when given a chance to play. Not much of a loss here.

Yet another Shanahan player gone... however this is almost as big a loss as Bergerboi.

Yet another Shanahan player gone.

More than half the roster wasn't here last season and I'd venture to guess that more than half the starters won't be either. The team we field on game day, for better or worse, will be mostly constructed by McDaniels/Xanders/Nolan. This will be good because it means sink or swim we'll see how good of a personnel/coach McD is because so many of the Shanahan players will have been purged.

Louis Green always was a fringe player as to whether or not he would make the opening day roster each year. Good special teams player, best of luck Louis.

Thanks for your time Louis, you were a tough player with high effort!

Only Ben Hamilton had been with the Broncos organization longer than Louis Green (2003). Green played seven years for Denver. That's a nice career for a backup/special teams player.
