Well I guess the Denver post has Woody Paige as their goof, but you gotta love Jason Whitlock.

It's "African-American dress sandals".

It's "African-American dress sandals".

What's funny is his outfit was so not black. He was basically dressed like a fat white man: shorts to show off the inexplicably large calves, probably from pushing fatness around all day with a button up untucked Hawaiian shirt that has become the fat man's muumuu. The only difference was Whitlock's shirt wasn't Hawaiian.

But yeah, him and his "dress sandals" were kicked out because he was black, not because he was dressed like a fat guy at the beach.

Also sagging below Whitlock's knees: his tits.

The following quotes are from NFL scouts, coaches and front-office personnel, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The biggest steal of the draft I think was the Falcons getting a Hall of Fame tight end (Tony Gonzalez) for a second-round pick next year, which amounts to a third (-rounder). Who is Matt Cassel going to check down to now? Gonzalez was a huge part of that offense. He was their go-to receiver. He was the security blanket check-down. With a quarterback adapting to a new system, I would not have wanted to give him up not this year. He is going to make Matt Ryan a lot better.

I have a bone to pick with the media. How come everyone let Scott Pioli off the hook? Tyson Jackson is a Toyota. (The Chiefs) spent 60K on a Toyota. Its OK if you spend it on a Mercedes. I dont care if its an Avalon (high-end model Toyota). (Bill) Belichick looked like a genius trading out of the first round and picking up picks for next year so he does not have to pay anyone first-round money who is not a first-round talent. Pioli traded one pick in the sixth round, and he overpaid Jackson.
