What do those mowers cost?

Never heard of the Walker. Tested out the DR brush/mower last year http://www.drpower.com/. Those things are the real deal but they dumped the riding version due to liability they said. Nice thing about them is you they convert to a generator, snow blower, and finish mower. They even given you a one year free trial no questions asked. Pretty wild.

They literally run over brush as advertised.

HEY MOCK? I know you got plenty of tractor stories. Tell us about that one time....

Meck, buy a great lawnmower, not a Dixie Chomper. I've got a Skag. They're the best. You can mow trees up to 1.5" in diameter w/ them. It also goes as fast as you want it to go while mowing. I have almost 2 acres of lawn and can mow it in a little over an hour!

We use one of these at work.

GREAT for areiaton (sp?), but honestly that pic of the snowblower had me laughing.

I HATE that thing in the snow. We swap the tires, and switch between a snow blower or blade attachment...it seriously sucks in anything over three inches.

For summertime activities it's pretty sweet, get alot of swampass goin, but it performs well.

We've got about 4 hustler superz's that are AWESOME mowers.

I just about flipped a NewHolland TS110 the other day trying to mow the top of a damn openspace birm. SERIOUSLY ****tin my pants for a minute...

Funniest story for me....My boss let me do a little snow removal with the CAT loader we've got. So, here I am, about three months into my job, and I'm out at about four in the morning. JUST slammed an energy drink, barely awake yet, and here I am 12 feet up in the air trying to distinguish between landscaped islands and parking spaces.

Well, after about two hours, I hop out to take a break, and take a peek at the bucket. BIG chunks of concrete. Few pieces of sod. Sprinkler heads. **** I'm thinking, who the hell left all this landscaping stuff out in the parking lot....oh ****. Yup, you guessed it. I'd gone right through an island in the lot, never even FELT it.

MY BOSS WAS PISSED, Needless to say I wasn't allowed to drive the loader for a while :D

I got a great deal on it, but that is about what they normally go for brand new....maybe just a little bit more with the box scraper and mowing deck.

I also have a landscape rake for it.

That tractor comes in handy, as I have 10.3 acres of property across the road from my house, which sits on almost 2 acres.

I have a little tree farm on the 10.3 acres. Someday I want to dig a few acre pond and build a house on the back of the property.

In Arizona I need to come up with a power rake. No mower down here. As a side note, most with a power mower probably need a snow blower. Don't need one of them either.

I was going to buy a snow blade as well, but the loader bucket works good enough for snow removal where I live.

That a bada$$ ride junkie.

I had alittle Toro GTS. Had it for a long time. It took a crap on me and I was complaining about it at work. One guy tells me he has a John Deere 116 that he can't get running. I asked him what he wants for it. He said he doesnt know. I knew he was a Corvette fan so I gave him a couple die cast vettes. Both in the case and worth about 10 bucks each. He gave me a big smile and said I could just come get the John Deere. I go pick it up and its like brand new. Wiring harness for the fuel pump and the pump were bad. I make a new harness, order a fuel pump and have it going in about an hour. Just got her done this weekend. My lucky day I guess.

Thanks....I would not classify it as 'badass'....but it is pretty sweet and should last me until I am an old man if I take care of it and keep up with the maintenance.

It is a 25hp diesel....be nice to have a little bigger tractor, but it does everything I need it to.

Sounds like you got an incredible deal on the John Deere.

For what meck needs to mow he needs a deck mower, reels would be rendered useless in 10 ft in the stuff hes knocking down that's a fairway/rough mower.

I liked the grasshopper I used for a summer or two back in the early college days...even had a drink holder and all sorts of fun other attachments I just about talked the boss into. But for what meck is looking for...probably not the right thing.

Ive spent quite a bit of time on a walker. I loved it. My dad has 4-5 for his business and seems to like them pretty well.
