Excellent. I'm not real happy with the left index finger missing, though. That could definitely hamper his play. Or is that a gang sign? DON'T TELL ME THAT'S A GANG SIGN! OMG!!! HE'S GANG-SIGNING AT HIS GRADUATION CEREMONY!

Two hands raised....one for each 3rd round pick it cost Denver to draft him.

We got a fourth rounder also, which became Bruton who hopefully will be a solid guy for years to come.

Well, I don't know WTF went on in that draft. Nolan apparently wanted Al Smith, that didn't cost anything this draft. Nolan apparently wanted McBath, he got him. That burned the natural 2nd rounder. So Nolan got 3 out of the first four draft picks.

McD wanted a ball-buster redzone dude, a chainmover. He got him. In terms of draft points it was a wash. We'll just have to see how it pans out.

We got a low 2nd for Quinn and a fourth and Bruton for our 3rd round picks.. and we lost a net total of only 20 places for the total deal ... big freakin deal ....!

They wanted him bad enough, go get him!

By saying ''it cost us two thirds" sounds good if complaining is the aim.

No finger down on this one... DUN DUN DUNNN. Different people could say he is "raising the roof" or "putting his hands up for the coppers."

I've seen Clady putting up gang signs. Doesn't mean he's in a gang... it's just a thing some people do.

Actually, I don't think I have said a word about it since a few days after the draft....but thanks for speculating.

It's called an opinion....and in my opinion we gave up a little too much to move up and take a player that I don't think was worthy of being a 2nd round pick (and don't bring up how other teams were going to take him right after we took him)....again it is my opinion.

There were plenty of picks we made this year that I liked....this was simply one that I thought was dumb. An objective fan does not have to like every single pick or trade the team makes.

If we'd taken Quinn in the 3rd would it make you feel better? If they hadn't moved up with Pittsburgh and Quinn did make it to #79 we probably take him there, Bruton at #85, and then look at Olsen with our 4th.

I don't think the trade changed a thing in regards to who we were looking to take, it just let them make sure to get one of the guys they really wanted. I understand the desire to move up after Quinn, he's already an outstanding blocker and he's got a lot of natural athleticism. He might never be a great pass catcher, but our new offense will rely heavily on an in line blocking TE and Daniel Graham isn't exactly getting any younger. We can't risk having to throw out the entire game plan if Graham gets hurt, we can't bet on Graham aging like fine wine with our otherwise very young offense, and we could certainly use some extra in line power to run our red zone and goal line packages out of. He fills a lot of holes, both in the short and long term.
