what did you think of the first episode?

frankly, after seeing what they put their DBs and WRs through on day 1, i'd like to see Irvin and Bates and Avezzano come up to Dove Valley and find some special teams players for Broncos as well. something tells me Shanny never worked his players that hard.

i also liked Irvin's attitude about making them run 40's at the end of practice when they were dead tired. he said anyone can run a 4.4 40 when you're rested. that's 1st quarter stuff. he wants to find the guys who can run in the 4th quarter when they are needed. it's refreshing to see this sort of old school approach to the game in this era of coddled multi-millionaire NFL players.

i actually liked the first episode. better than alot of other junk on TV. i'll watch it again.

It's too bad I despise Irvin so much, that seems like a really cool idea for a show.

What about the 40 time after getting a blow job then sniffing a line of coke off a strippers ass?

And who knows more about being coddled than the Platemaker?

i like the new irving, he really appears to be a changed person. he is a minister now at a place that gets men to open and express themselves via sports, which is pretty interesting and i bet very effective.

im gonna wait for the final episode to watch, id love to see the sport specific drills these guys are going through so i can take notes..

Travis needs to find God, and Fast!

Whatever happened to LT? Did opposing teams stop sending hookers with 8 balls to his room?

Ryan Leaf went to Canada to get in touch with nature.

Michael Irvin!!!!
 You'd think after a HOF career and as often as his mug's been on the tube there would be nobody left who watches the NFL that doesn't know what his name is. Amazingly I still hear some of these doofus fans down here calling him that.

Irvin makes the show unwatchable. The winner is only going to be around till the first roster cut anyways, so why should we really care? ???

It's just like the "Biggest BreaK" on the golf channel, not one winner has made the cut in a tournament they get to play in. These guys don't have a chance in hell of making the roster of the Cowboys.

i think they actually do have a small chance of making the roster as a special teams or scout team player if they've got the heart and desire and can show it. most of them have legit Div. I college football resumes and some were expected to be drafted until injuries hit them in their senior years. it's clearly an uphill battle, but i wouldn't dismiss the potential outcome just yet. i know that some guy who works his butt off and consistently finds a way to get downfield on punts and put a big hit on the punt returner would make the Broncos squad no matter what his background. we haven't had a guy like that in Denver in years. who's to say it can't happen in Dallas too.
