So this it what it has come to. We either get sequels and prequels or Mega Sharks. Hollywood needs some fresh blood stat!

Exclusive: Door Open For ‘Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus’ Sequel, Says Deborah Gibson
13 May 2009 8:37 PM, PDT | From MTV Movies Blog | See recent MTV Movies Blog news

It’s one of the month’s biggest success stories: since MTV.com premiered the trailer for Asylum’s wacky sea creature film “Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus,” it’s been viewed hundreds of thousands of times and even became a top Google search trend.

So what does the future hold for this franchise-in-the-making? To get the answer, we went straight to one of the film’s human stars, 80’s icon Deborah Gibson.

“I haven’t seen the final edit, but we did do a version that leaves the door open for a potential sequel,” Gibson revealed. “Because God knows what else is in the ocean. I thought maybe a seahorse? Maybe a 500-foot lobster would be good. But yes, there is the potential for a sequel, and I would absolutely love it.”

Continue reading our “Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus” interview with Deborah Gibson over at MTV.com.

If this is the best script Lorenzo Lamas can get, maybe he would be better off as a callboy. Probably more money in it...

So, if the Shark is fighting the Octopus, then why are they messing with our boats and bridges? Isn't the ocean big enough for them?

Anyways, I've had it with these mother****ing snakes on this mother****ing plane.

Boats and submarines are the Giant Shark & Octopuses only natural predators innit.

What a dissappointment. I thought there was some youtube footage of an acutal battle between a shark and octopus not some preview for a stupid movie.

Movie rule of thumb: If it has Lorenzo Lamas, it's must see stuff.

Funny you should say that. I heard on the light rail this morning that Lorenzo Lamas has been cast as Khan in the next Star Trek.

Actually he would be perfectly cast as his assistant or first officer, they look alike.
