Sad day. He was truly a great guy, parent, husband and role model. He will be sorely missed.

Oh, wow. That's sad. I definitely remember his college days at OU. I was really pulling for Tisdale and his teammates to beat Kansas in the 1988 National Championship game (that didn't work out so well). I didn't realize that he had bone cancer. RIP to a man who died way too soon...

I was trying to remember if one of his kids goes to High School with my kids here in Tulsa...?

Anyway, he was a really nice man when I met him at a basketball game. RIP.

RIP to "outta my" Wayman Tisdale. A great ball player and even greater person.
