<a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/04/22/AR2009042204036.html"> What If You Could Move Objects With Your Mind? Well, That Time Has Come. </a>

Just like Yoda levitated Luke's X-Wing Fighter, a new Mattel toy raises a ping-pong ball using only the power of your mind. (Small wireless headsets convert your brain's electrical activity into a wireless signal.)

But that's only the beginning. Government-financed projects are investigating mechanical hands, arms, and legs controlled by the nervous system. Though NeuroSky's hardware is used in "The Force Trainer," they're marketing their brain-wave sensors to the healthcare industry, with applications in education and even the automotive industry.
